  • Nobody has ever been able to keep God’s Law except Jesus. Why is it so hard for Christians to admit that we still need the Forgiveness of Jesus everyday. So, be all that you can be through the Grace that God has given you. Godspeed

  • Hebrews 10:16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

8:10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:(8:13 also)

  • I am personally disappointed in churches and Christians in today's world. So many have fallen from the true teachings of god, sinning all week and breaking many of the 10 commandments, then they show up on Sunday to get their "brownie points" with god so they can go back to sinning all week long. Then they will stand there and look down on everyone praising themselves for being so holy and righteous in god, when in reality they are evil wicked men who can't see their sins for what they truly are

  • Steve,

Thanks for the video. This is a topic ,how the Law applies to belivers in Christ,I have been contemplating for quite some time. I have to ask you is this a new revelation to you? I ask because in one of your videos about food storage you showed your collection of Spam (which is pork based). Thanks again for all your videos

  • @ckiefer045 I had been seeing this more in scripture but it wasnt till recently that everything clicked & its all coming together with no conflicts.

As for the spam that is something else we are looking at too - the dietary commands. If we go kosher then at least we will have spam to barter with or use as ballistic jell

    ;)

  • You had to make it religious just when I subscribed...didn't ya? Damn it!

  • Jesus told us to go out and tell everyone and to love one another as we love ourselves. Those are the commands He gave so why muddy it up with man's interpretation. It goes back to don't tell me what the Word means, tell me what it says! Jesus said it, two basic commands to keep and know one is going to tell me we are under the old law. Jesus fulfilled that and shed His blood for us knowing full well that not one of us is can keep the whole of the old law.

  • Wow, I really like you before with your gear reviews and political talk, but now that I see we have this point of view in common too I really think your awesome. Semper Fi

  • @0369Marine1 thanks for the compliment - God is awesome, I'm just trying to follow Him

    :)

  • Wow! Brother I see you are coming to the Truth! Not Bad for A white Guy...LOL....AHAYAH Bless my Brother...Keep the SABBATH....

  • @SteeleHorse45 LOL

    :)

    shalom

  • Thank God for insight :) GB!

  • show me the law to keep the sabbath for salvation in the nt friend.

"But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain."

  • @neekothesecond

The old testament said God's sabbath would be a sign between Him and His chosen people throughout ALL generations. God doesn't change. Malachi 3:6

  • @TheIsraelite7777

Without keeping the sabbath, you cannot love God. Romans 13:9 specifically says the 2 great commandments are the 10 commandments summed up.

  • @neekothesecond Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy" Exodus 31:16 "Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant." Leviticus 16:31 "It is a sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever." Also if its been abolished then why did Paul in Acts 17:2 & 18:4 still follow & observe the sabbath? Hmmm... Commands & examples abound.

  • @neekothesecond BTW show me in the NT where Jesus or any disciple/author abolished/stated that we are no longer to observe the sabbath? Hmmm... you can't.

So according to your logic, just because a law, say bestiality or incest, was not restated in the nt then its permissible? Of course not.

If God stated that the sabbath was a perpetual/eternal covenant (forever) then show were it was cast down. You can't because its still sanctified & holy in both the OT & NT.

  • @neekothesecond Isaiah 66:23 states... "and it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another shall ALL flesh come to worship before me saith the Lord. Worship YHVH on the sabbath" Lev 24:8 "Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant."

Since we gentiles are ingrafted into His chosen ppl then this applies to us as well - forever.

Its about LIFE & joy in Him & His word, not a burden.

    :D

  • @SafeArmsReview

"Isaiah 66:23 states... "and it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another shall ALL flesh come to worship before me saith the Lord. Worship YHVH on the sabbath""

    John 4:24

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

I AM IN THE SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH FRIEND, AND HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST THE MIGHTY LORD GOD.

  • @neekothesecond Paul said to follow him as he followed Jesus = Jesus is our example on how to live here on earth. If the sabbath was done away with, then why is it still mentioned as Jesus being LORD of the sabbath? That it was made FOR man so he could rest & have time to study, worship & revere the Almighty?

You see it makes not sense to get rid of the sabbath & make it null & void & then state Jesus is the Lord of it.

    ;)

  • @neekothesecond The apostles were commanded to be faithful & to carry forth the teachings of Jesus & that we are to observe ALL the law, which was summed up by the 2 greatest commandments.

    :)

  • @SafeArmsReview SIGH.....

23And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN SAVED AND HAS TRUE FAITH LOVES GOD MY FRIEND.

  • @neekothesecond No debate on that Amen.

However the law has not been done away with; Rom 3:31 'Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law!'

Establish = in the presence of others, to uphold or sustain the authority of a thing, to stand immovable. I find it funny that for so long I chose to ignore God's commands & examples & trade away HIS life for something less.

  • @neekothesecond I totally agree

We are saved by grace & God gives each of us a measure of faith.

Again plz answer the question "Where is the sin when a believer observes the sabbath?"

    ;)

  • @neekothesecond We can also use the 'law' to examine ourselves & see if we are in the faith or if we are catering to our flesh. Without a standard of righteousness & holiness which Jesus did by living out the law, we are like a ship that has no rudder & is tossed about by any wind of flesh &/or false teaching.

    :)

Sorry but I used my other yt account (safearms & hetgow channel belong to me).

  • @hetgow het my friend, you should read the nt(KJV) more carefully, you might understand just what the LAW of love is in depth.

    Romans 13:8-9 KJV!

"Without a standard of righteousness & holiness which Jesus did by living out the law"

THAT'S RIGHT JESUS (((FULFILLED))) THE OT LAW!

AND THE PROPHECIES THAT WERE ABOUT HIM.

  • @neekothesecond Fulfilled does not mean it does not apply to us today. You say you believe the ten commandments are for today but you ignore the 4th which is to be kept FOREVER.

I have pointed to numerous examples of Jesus, His disciples & NT ppl who observed the sabbath but you have NOT shown where it has been revoked.

  • @hetgow show me the command in the nt to observe the sabbath after one has received the Holy Ghost.

  • @neekothesecond BTW do you even know what a person &/or family does on the sabbath? Plz show me the sin of observing the sabbath.

Its praying, teaching & disciplining one's family, to study & discuss His word in the OT, the NT & how it applies to our lives today. Its about renewing our mind in Him. To pray for & bless family members, to thank God for salvation thru Christ, resting in HIS completed work on the cross & more.

  • @hetgow as i said.

"I will not judge you for observing a day to the Lord.. but I will judge doctrine as false from those who say one must keep that sabbath law(which was for the jewish people) from the ot to be saved... "

  • @hetgow i am talking about a salvation issue Steve, not observing a day to the Lord because you want to. there is NOTHING wrong with observing the sabbath but there is something wrong when men say that you MUST in order to be saved.

  • @hetgow we are complete in Him Steve, the Lord is over that sabbath. but we do have to obey the law....

"((A new)) commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

now go to 1 john 3:23

    FATHERS COMMANDMENT:BELIEVE ON THE SON

    SONS COMMANDMENT:LOVE ONE ANOTHER

AND WHO IS IT THAT SPOKE THE COMMANDMENTS:

JESUS CHRIST...("I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE")

  • @neekothesecond Each month I fulfill the law by paying my mortgage every month but that does not mean the next month I dont have to.

    ;)

  • @neekothesecond BTW I NEVER stated the prophecies were not about Jesus.

Plz refrain from the implication that I said something I clearly did not.

    :)

  • @hetgow unbelieving gentiles are under the law to Christ friend... 1 john 3:23

the unbelieving jewish people are under the LAW of the OT.

  • @hetgow hinting to others that they must keep the sabbath, is VERY dangerous friend.

    faith worketh by love friend.

    1 john 3:23

    Romans 2:14-15

King James Version (KJV) 14For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts,

"do by nature the things contained in the law"="law written in their hearts"

  • @neekothesecond I'm not saying we can work our way to heaven nor gain salvation by following the law - Jesus made that clear.

Plz show me the sin of observing the sabbath as a believer who observes because he/she loves God

    ;)

  • @hetgow "Plz show me the sin of observing the sabbath as a believer who observes because he/she loves God"

I will not judge you for observing a day to the Lord.. but I will judge doctrine as false from those who say one must keep that sabbath law(which was for the jewish people) from the ot to be saved...

  • @hetgow you need to understand in your study Steve, that some commands in the nt sound a lot(even the same) like the OT but you MUST understand it is a command in the nt, the NEW COVENANT which Jesus Christ is the mediator of. btw friend, you might want to study out of the kjb if you are not already.

  • @neekothesecond check out acts 15:19-21 it address the question "what do we teach the gentile believers?"

"... we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from fornication & from what is strangled & from blood. For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who preach him, since he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

So we see that gentiles observed the sabbath!

    :D

  • @hetgow Titus 3:9-11

King James Version (KJV) 9But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 10A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

    i am done here friend.

  • @neekothesecond The problem is with your line of thinking is that now your stating the Apostle Paul and all his writings are heresy because many examples show he observed & taught on the sabbath.

Let me remind you its NOT a salvation issue but your the one making it out to be that and its not.

Again plz show 100% in scripture where the sabbath has been done revoked & outlawed & how its a sin today.

    God bless

  • Brilliant teaching Chris', God bless you and your's Bro'

    Favorited !

  • ok, i don't have time to watch all of this.

i'm wondering if you've totally understood what Jesus means - jot'n'tittle etc.

from memory thats matt 5 verse 18. that is the start of the block.

    do not stop reading.

he unpacks what he means in the rest of the chapter.

he quotes from the law - notice he alters 4 and contradicts 2. whats that about?

what about this verse? Unless your righteousness is greater than the teachers of the law, you will not enter the kingdom of God.

  • @4096x If u dont watch it all u miss very important points in scripture. Nothing will change till there is a new heaven & new earth, so we are still to observe His instructions for LIFE & not ignore His commands.

As for righteousness greater than the pharisees means they were working their way into heaven (works salvation) when in fact we are saved by grace & not any works of our own. We must be saved by grace then as a new creation we do God's good works because of our new nature.

    :)

  • Thank you, this has been a powerful blessing for the flock. Many people want to interject the meaning of MESSIAH's words in Matthew 5:18 instead of read them as written, & let's dare not forget Leviticus 4:13 for ignorance is also a sin which needed a blood sacrifice. Nothing & no one is exempt from the Commandments & the Laws. There's a reason MESSIAH said, "For many are called, but few are chosen." Matthew 22:14. Excellent presentation, brother Steve, JESUS bless you & your family. Peace. <(^8
