  • Many Koreans are nervous to speak to strangers (of any race), because they want to be able to respond in perfect English/Chinese/Japanese (which is a very lofty goal!).

When I lived in Seoul, I found that even when I tried to ask for help in Korean, they would still respond (in Korean), "I don't know English." Of course, sometimes I'd get an answer in perfect English, so you just never know!

  • great video :)

  • I've been studying Korean, and I'll translate what's being said at the end. "Fellow Koreans: The Winter Olympics will be here in 2018 . . . DON'T F--- THIS UP FOR US!"

  • @spicykimchi1 Doubleplus good comment

  • It's basically telling Koreans not to be afraid to talk to foreigners, and that you should say Hello if you meet one, rather than going out of your way to avoid confrontation.

  • Wished I understood what they said. Might have been funnier.

  • @huyked It's just a succession of people saying "Hello" or "Excuse me" in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
