  • I agree Shiraz. Here comes the next bandwagon! One day people will realise we can't teach everything: Then we might stop teaching and concentrate on awakening a love of learning.

  • It represents a whole challenge for me. I had to prepare a student for his Physics exam in English. I had to prepare the right vocabulary for it and it was a nice experience ! I'm going to take the TKT CLIL exam.

  • Well, not exactly. CLIL is about teaching a subject in L2 (or L3), but incorporating EFL techniques. That's the way I see it. On the other hand, in some countries such as SIngapore, this has been going on since the 60s, maybe even earlier!

  • To me, it just sounds like a new buzzword for what we teachers have been doing for years, like a commercial scheme for publishers to sell more books!!
