Good Job Man!! It was a greatly placed shot, also it was a fast, quick kill. And there is nothing better than putting venison on the table. Great Job!!! some people just do not understand the sport.
You get such a thill out of killing like serial killers too get their thrill out of killing, same damn thing. You want to kill till the day you die? Hell has a spot for you don't you worry so keep on killing!
@DeliberateCruelty it's interesting you would bring religion and hell into this. You see, God created animals and there are several instances in the bible where he urges man to hunt for food and clothing. I'm a Chritian, I won't be in hell. Thanks for responding with your hate towards me. BTW, God also mentioned something about that....
@DeliberateCruelty all you have to do with your life is to come and badmouth hunters and hunting. we do not make you hunt so you shouldn't try and keep us from hunting
success is higher and more does are able to carry two fawns. Ironically, this can result in a greater deer harvest each year." Quality Deer Management
"With high quality habitat and increased nutrition, the percentage of doe fawns that breed their first fall increases (sometimes up to 25 percent).. Also, a higher percentage of yearling does produce two fawns instead of one." Quality Deer Management
If murdering deer is about 'reduction" then why in QDM website they often talk about producing deer. Read this.
" Fawn crop is often density dependent. Generally, as doe numbers increase, fawn production per doe decreases. Fewer does can and often do raise more fawns to weaning age than more abundant does." QDM
They know that less does means better fawn production.
Why is it you guys that hunt from ladder stands feel you don't need a harness or life line set from the ground up to your high point? no fall arrest protection in place !! Bad idea man...please change your ways...we need all the bowhunters we can get!
You're exactly right. I should've had a harness on. Unfortunately, my camera man forgot his and because he was hunting much higher than I, I let him use mine. It is one of only a couple times I've ever hunted without one. I now carry extra harnesses in my truck just in case and all of my hunters and camera men are required to wear them. Thanks for your concern!
im a 100% Texas republican we have the right to bear arms and if we cant check achmed at the airport no more cause people will say were racist then they can suck our fat 100% pure American cocks
Youre the exact reason that hunting gets a bad name..... Moron who tries to somehow bring politics into a debate where it wasn't even mentioned. It is obvious that cattheothermoron is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but you just made it 2x worse with your inane banter.
I remember the days when setting up a salt lick was something of a digrace and you would never tell your friends due to the shame and heckling that would follow. Now we are planting gardens to shoot deer. What ever happened to stalking the animal. I love hunting, but come on. Why don't you go shoot something in a petting zoo after letting it eat out of your hand
I agree... I pattern the deer on the farm that I hunt... then set up my stand to their most traveled path. I got my buck last week on opening night of season because of it.
YOU BAMBI KILLER, YOUR A MURDERER!! YOU SHOULD BE LOCKED UP FOR THIS MURDER, ALL THE EVIDENCE IS ON VIDEO. Why did you have to kill a living animal? What did Bambi ever do to you?
Before that day? Nothing! Since that day? She fed my family good healthy protein for a couple months! Sure hope I can locate Bambi's lil sister this fall, my freezer is near empty!
Ok i've noticed how there's always someone to say somthing about hunting in a bad way saying it's inhumane and all this BS, but slaughtering cows, chickens, turkeys etc. is no different! But i bet not a damn one of them people has ever been hunting to know that it's not even as cruel as people make it out to be, so yall people need to read your facts about the killing methods and living conditions of the live stock i'm sure you eat every single day, before you go and say some shit about hunting
that was actually an atom broadhead with the so called razor wires. The head killed the deer, but the holes were very small. The head did not perform that well.
lol i just wanted to point out that hunting is NOT as etical any any other sport. If u beleive it is then u wont mind if i hunt u/ur family? maybe put out some money and when they rock up i stick em with an arrow. But last i checked i play chess with real ppl...
#5 Always make sure the camera man did his job! LOL I hate to look up and see sad eyes! RED LIGHT and Manual Focus! Tape is too cheap to run out and batteries are only good if you charge them!
Thanks. Yes, unfortunately my cameraman forgot his safety harness. It's not a good excuse, but since he was hunting a good bit higher than me and in a small platform loc-on and filming, I chose to go ahead and hunt and let him use my harness. I thought it was the safest way to still be able to hunt. This hunt taught me an important lesson thoguh.... I now keep and extra harness in my truck! I recomend everyone carry and extra harness incase you lose part of your main harness or forget it.
OMG! Now that was a really intelligent reply. Most archers spend months preparing for the hunting season and are very proficient with their equipment. This deer was dead 20 seconds after I released the arrow. If that isn't swift precise death, I don't know what is! Hunting has been around since the beginning of time. We are at the top of the food chain for a reason. Bowhunting is just as ethical as any sport out there. Have a nice day!
yeh bow hunting kicks...but here in oz we go for boars and shit ey..there are a few deer but there pretty rare and timid. i wanna get a deer someday but =]

1. Animals cannt fight back!
2. I wouldnt bother fighting u, fighting is only sport if u its possible that u wont win
3. I have NO prob with hunting, as long as it is hunting "the finding and killing of" (oxford english dictionary) ur not finding just killing.
4. I dont have a prob with killing, as long as its not for fun!
5. for pain u need nerves....plants dont have them!

@stretch34318 You are aware that Bambi is not real, never has been real, nor ever will be real. It was a Walt Disney cartoon.
