  • I add gardening molasses and fish fertilizer, it makes a difference

  • Oh lord what is this guy doing..you don't use topsoil to make tea..simply using warmcastings..oh lord jebus

  • @WeeItsNookies As John Kohler says (GrowingYourGreens dott com) life is a matter of "Good, Better, Best". So yes, growing your food is good. Using compost tea is better. Making the tea with Worm Casting may be 'best'. But we all do what we can. At the time that I made this video, I don't think I had started using worm bins yet (vermicomposting), so I tried what I had. Now I have worm bins and use their castings. Peace.

  • can i just put the compost steer it and leave it for 24 hours steer it again then drain it using some old shirts to remove the small particles and spray it with machine on the plants ?

  • @daswada9 You can stir the brewing compost tea instead of using a bubbler.... BUT.... you need it stir OFTEN to prevent anaerobic bacteria from growing in there. If it smells bad, then you are not adding enough oxygen during the process.

  • Great video, thanks! Still using the same setup? Still liking your results? End up using a mesh bag instead of scooping right into the water? I'm just about to brew my first batch today.... wish me luck!

  • looks like you could use more bubbles

  • @SpeciaEdu Yeah, my compost tea probably would be better if I had a better bubbler (more bubbles) but I did not get any smell (no hint of nasty anaerobic bacteria brewing there) and I came by and stirred it often, so until I use this often enough to invest in a better bubble-blower I'll stick with this for now. Thanks for your advice. I agree that we should use the best bubbler we have or can readily get. Happy gardening.

  • @OrganicGarden123 Maybe not a better bubbler, maybe just another air stone. They're pretty cheap at any hydroponic store

  • @OrganicGarden123 Aerate it for 36 to 48 hours before adding the compost / biomass & molasses

  • @1969626 Yes, I aerate the water prior to adding compost, mainly to let the chlorine blow off (since it would kill my beneficial bugs) prior to adding the compost and sugar/molasses.
