Wow, do i ever no how that feels. All though mine didn't get blown away, I just lost all control for some reason. Here take a look at it. I think you'll like it. Mine is flying over Kaysville.
Just be thankful you didn't hit anyone or anything. my slowstick looks light in the sky, but I once came down on someone's roof and that thing has some momentum to it, made a loud thump. I can't imagine that being a car or worst yet some kid playing in the yard.
Amen to that...that was my biggest concern when it happened. I drove through the neighborhood for 2 hours afterwards looking for any signs of damage or injury...
Nice video. I don't think it was the wind, my friend. I lost a Slow Stick and camera permanently and had a few close calls on high altitude and distance, where I lost control. Solution; 1. tag my wing with e-mail address (no guarantee), 2. Lost model alarm ( I have a video that demonstrates the Lost Model Alarm that I got), 3. Dual antenna receiver for my 2.4gHz SlowStick/radio setup. I know the feeling and glad you got yours back. Really enjoyed the video. Great scenery! Thanks for sharing.
I used to hike in that general area on a daily basis..glad it didn't land on me!
