@Mrbuddydan due to the way that Dan ended salvations reach there must be at least 1 direct sequel as (spoiler) the chaos capital ship Tormaggedon Monstrum Rex is Following the Armaduke so there is a chance that it either gets attacked on route to the next staging point or when it joins the rest of the fleet a chaos fleet led by the capital ships attacks

@luckyluxary ,I think that you are right...a clapped out old frigate vs a Murder class cruiser is one heck of a anticlimatic ending.Besides we have to see the seeds of dissent foment among the ruinous powers. I am glad that Sar Af was able to restore Merrts dignity...i hopeColnel Comissar Ibram Gaunt and Dan Abnett have many more stories to entertain us with.

Dan,just bought Salvations Reach,fantastic tie to BF Gothic,alot of fluff for character developement that makes me love the ghosts even more.,Is this the end for Gaunt stories though?

Rawne and Feygor

were awesome! I guess I really liked them because I saw them both as me and my best friend that stuck with me almost all the time even when we were chased by a group of pissed of people and we will always stand up for each other even if we are outnumbered. I felt so teary when poor Feygor died. But dont get me wrong I love Corbec! He is the best!

Mkvenner is 40k's more bad ass version of rambo.. i wish he lived it through Gereon tho he was by far the coolest character

@FulSPec10 He did live, he remained on the planet, remaining MIA, but the scout leader, Mkoll, swore that he saw Mkvenner on another palnet. But in fact has not been accurately confirmed. Nonetheless, Mkvenner has been a legend amongst the Gereon locals as a real Ghost, striking and disappearing against the Great Enemy.

ive been reading the gaunt's ghosts series for about 2 years now. i find myself going back and re-reading previous stories and ive come to love the stories abnett writes. of all the 40k books ive read, id say GG is the best series ive come across. as i write this, im halfway through "Necropolis" for my 2nd read thru. Vervunhive's siege is just absolutely brutal!

There is no doubt in the world that if god got bored of being immortal, he came to life as Dan Abnett with a pen and paper. The man is amazing and a credit to black library. I honestly beleive that without Dan Abnett black library would have fallen off a cliff and dies horribly and miserably many years ago. Thank you Mr Abnett :D

Catachans also a good stealth because that the skill the need to learn or else they all die in the Catachan death world. By allow this 2 type of soldier to at least meet or speak to each other would be nice to see.
