well, maybe they reproduce when the berserker is subdued as you often see them in chains, 'cause why would any guy want to hit something that could kill them in a second? Or maybe only Theron and Palace guards are allowed to mate as they can withstand large amounts of damage and are also high up on the political/social ladder.
