Why do they have to engage the suspect in such a way that puts so many civilians in danger? If the TV network helicam is able to follow the suspect, why can't the police chopper? Or to seal off exits lay stingers on the ground and puncture the suspect's tires?The danger to the public in high speed police chases on criminals is unthinkable. The suspect is in a desperate attempt to escape from the law and will not hesitate to hurt / endanger other civilian road users.

The truth of the matter is you can't out run radar -- hense one of the reasons people who speed have radars. 1) To see the nearby units, 2) to see if they called it in.

He also committed at least 4 felonies in the video. I looked up some info on this guy.
