I think Ilien must have been regretful if she didn't let Tibette to be together at the end. Everybody's responses may be so different now cuz we have so many Tibette fans. You know when a beautiful love story has been written, not so many writters put a sad ending for it...Writing is so powerful that it can give people hopes and peace of mind...This love may not exist in real life but it has given us wonders and butterflies for sure. In my opinion Jodi was practically pushing Bette towards Tina...Jodi was self-centered and only cared about herself.She said Bette was a control freak,but she was the epitome of someone needing to always be right and in control..
I love the tension between those two. Maybe,I like more when they aren't together, but they want it - that shows how deep their love is, and what chemistry they have. That's why season five is my favorite.
