He must be high-class homeless. Who can afford that freeze-dried food? When I was homeless I ate food from food lion dumpsters and food banks. I cooked on propane and sometimes a camp fire or just ate it cold. Poor advice dude!
How old are you? You "hint" that your mother isn't taking proper care of you... that you're "left out in the cold". At what age do you believe her mommy-ing should end? Thirty? Forty?
well i have done full time rv in a truck style camper still had some work but very little and that's not how homeless or semi homeless do it. most have some sort of portable stove mostly unleaded being that's easily gotten but some have lp burners to.and that's how they heat there water or cook whatever food they managed to get normally stuff they got from the shelter most let them take has much food as they can carry and they reheat it.
Better yet, check the classifieds for family reunion, wedding, wake...etc...go join in the fun. Plenty of food and you can make up all kinds of family stories to tell ;)
Real story- He got caught with his pants down.. wife tossed him.. he acted like a spoil kid to give a poor me show for friends & family pity so slept in his warm most like luxury suv/van & ate out of his BOB bag. Sorry I dont see humor when theres real homeless people- I was a homeless teen- and even as I sit in my nice warm house I will never forget how hard those days were. Apologize to ur wife & work 1 wknd at ur local mission maybe you'll get a clue jus how rude this vid is.
lmao ya right! Mountain House Meal- $6 & Like Seven11 gonna give u free hot water! You know how u eat? SOUP KITCHEN or DUMPSTER RIGHT AFTER MC'D's closes plastic bag so usually still hot too!
$4-5 for the food packet thing, and the hot chocolate is what? like $10 for a box? that's so retarded, i know ppl that can make $15 last for 2 1/2 weeks worth of food, and not waste it on 1 meal
I used to buy the eps cups of freezedryed soup for about $0.30 but now they are hire. You must be homeless from a $700k home and a six figure income! You have very expensive taste ! Anyway, good luck with that !
this guy is a poser, those things cost 8 bucks. an actual homeless person could get twice the amount of food at taco bell for that much. those meals are for camping and the such
you should invest in a 32oz zip lock container and put reflecticx insolater around it and tape it together with metal duckt orking tapr to make an insolated bowl for your food to go in if you want any other ideas search backpacking and ultralight backpacking on youtube
I will be eating raw foods only from local farmer's markets and hopefully grow food at a community garden (In SF they have gardens for low income people). Packaged/processed foods end up being more expensive in the long run.
I gotta say I love this guy, Its just crazy what we think of when we are in trouble, thats why I love the ingenuity that Americans have, no end to what they can think up when we get down and out. Really you can panhandle or work for and hour to afford this
What a joke! This guy knows NOTHING of van dwelling. If he did. He would have his van all set up the CORRECT WAY. Like shelves, a small sink with a hand pump, etc. THIS GUY IS A JOKE!
Dude you can easily find a house just go to craigslist. Click on "colorado" then "high rockies" then "rooms shared" Done, bingo. You obviously have a job and money so why not get a place? It's simple man! I respect you just taking off and doing it, I did the same thing from Minnesota but I got a place lined up! Good luck in ur travels man!
BK has buck doubles and Whopr jr $1ea you could build a twig stove or buy a twig stove that uses very little fuel and batteries. Blue plate mayo doesn't have to be refregerated nor eggs you can add hot water to tater buds add some butter and hidden valley ranch powder and you have a tasty snack. You can heat can of soup with twig stove ravioli 4 cans $250 wally. When you go to resturaunts save the packets you don't use or find on tables bag them use later honey never spoils. Salsa on eggs great.
@cdltpx Add that water to ramen noodle slice of cheese and a some bacon bits munch. You can make mac&ch using hot water too add some bacon bits HVR dust yum. If you drive for any period of time you can wrap raw food in foil place it on the manifold it will cook chicken beef veggies you name it the heat will cook food.
So your driving around in your van wasting gas, which costs money, eating overpriced camping food. makes no sense. your living in colorado, man, go post up in the woods by a camp fire and eat some organic food instead of video taping yourself driving around
@wilsonsann oh so theres rich homeless people out there.if you dont have a home you dont spend money on luxury food you get the cheapest of everything,or youre dumb
@verdemanthe1 that's right! in fact there is rich people who live in their rvs, just because they fucking want to, they can go wherever they want and still be at home, also it is possible that you have enough money to live good, but not enough to afford a house, or just because maybe you don't want to be a slave to your morgage for the rest of your life..
@wilsonsann if you got a rv=not homeless, if you dont have money to afford a roof over your head you shouldnt be buying expensive meals or youre dumb.sure food is up there in the hierarchy but its just dumb to be living in a box in an alley eating freeze dried meals at $8 a pop.expensive food that tastes bad and lacks nutrients, some kind of homeless poser would do that but anyone with brains would not.if you cant live within your means you best be eatin ramen an beans before you run outta food $

Mountain house is expensive, plus you CANNOT get food stamps when "homeless". You must have a street address to get food stamps.

I have tried Mountain House, very tasty but too expensive. The Mountain House Blueberry Cheesecake is to die for.
For me its a pack of Chicken Ramen, add a can of tuna. Veggies are a bonus.
