Exqusite photos of 'The Golden Era' now gone - rthe background music couldn't of been better-suited - takes me back to when I was young and we used to journey downtown on an occasional Sunday and had 'brunch' at the bar/grill (name escapes me now) - wonderful times and memories! Many thanks for the journey back in time!
I remember my Grandmother taking me downtown to Pouges ( I forget the spelling too) department store and buying me a REAL milk shake at the snack counter.
Back in the day you would dress up in your good clothes, drive downtown, park and walk along the streets of Cincinnati without any fear of being accosted by some Mentaly ill homeless person, getting car jacked, being mugged, or any other of the common everyday indignities that are forced upon us.
Enjoyed your respone - takes me back many years to 'the good old days' - why is it we didn't know they were that then - LOL?!!!

A very historic hotel, one of the few that is a National Register Landmark.
