@zzirSnipzz1 No thanks....I mean other than it being an agricultural product I have no need for it. There is no need for its size compared to the 544, and keep the crappy loader linkage. One day JCB will learn to put the cylinders facing the right way and build a decent product.
@vantagetes were im from everybody prefers the Jcb its maybe not built as strong as your quarry shovel but they are great to drive with limited slip and decent lift capacity main thing is the power and comfy that big ram down middle very bad for visibility as well
@zzirSnipzz1 Quarry shovel? A 544 is hardly a shovel. The 544J also had ltd slip as well as diff lock. It has great lift capacity for a loader in its size class and that single cylinder in the center not only provides great breakout force and cycle speed but it actually sticks up not much higher than the bucket from the operators point of view. I don't know about you but not much interesting goes on between the cab glass and back of the bucket.
@zzirSnipzz1 As I said when JCB learns to face cylinders in the correct direction I'll take them seriously. Cylinders have more power (breakout force) when extending. They have more speed retracting, so wouldn't it make sense to have it extend to curl when you need power and retract when you want to dump and need speed? Take a nice Deere wheel loader for a burn and tell me that its not nicer inside than a JCB. I can guarantee it, the company I used to work for used to run JCB loaders.
you sang, "I want my grader back I want my grader back, I want my grader back yo yourself"! Do you think the hospital will realise you have 'escaped yet? LOL!
@redheadedduckhunter Imagine a bunch of end dumps and a front end loader trying to do anything productive in the mall parking lot on a friday afternoon. They only do this on night shift to avoid traffic issues in the small areas they do snow removal in.
@vantagetes oh god i hate doing snow removal during the day, when you have to plow the roads it's just that much worse, all the idiot drivers out there..................i embrace the night lol.
Id say this is a stupid question but why would you move snow from one location to another? when it looks like its out off tha way where it is lol will it not melt soon any way?
@joiner4321 Probably because it stays below freezing there for almost 6 months at a time and for a solid 4 months that snow is not going to melt at all. I am guessing you live someplace where it snows but melts off soon after.
@joiner4321 There's still plenty of cold left this winter. For parking lots etc it just gets pushed into a pile somewhat out of the way, but once there is enough snow fall the pile starts taking up too much room and they (the clients) want it removed.
How is it on the attachment side for your loaders? Don't you have different buckets/plows with for example hydraulic "flaps" to make snow removal so much faster or easier?
@GooGeL85 Yes we have pushes that are 10', 12' and 14' wide for different loaders, but none of them help loading snow. The lot was too small for a push anyways. This lot was cleared with the 544 on day shift with 4 Cat 297C CTL's
Thats funny i sing the same song when they stick me on a loader, and after about 5 mins. of dealing with the numb minded truck drivers that don't listen for the horn. That little loader does look fairly quick I wish that the case 721's we have moved as quick.

Is it one of those Deere that start without a key...just punching four digit code?
Using a key just for unlocking door. All electonic console?
Just curious?

why are they called quads?
electricdes 1 year ago
@electricdes They have two back axles and two front axles on the trailer.
vantagetes 1 year ago
@vantagetes i was looking at that, is very difficult to reverse because there are 2 pivot points or is on of them fixed in place?
electricdes 1 year ago
@electricdes Takes a bit to get used to, there are two pivot points.

Small loader, big attitude, or at least the operator has one.
