Very informative. This is needed for Michigan drivers, many who are used to the "Michigan left" turn or waiting at a left turn lane for a green (or blinking yellow) arrow. This appears to be a learning curve for many drivers not used to roundabouts. The use of roundabouts and traffic circles has been in use for many years, in the US east coast and other countries throughout the world.. This method is a better alternative than sitting at a traffic light; especially during a rush hour period.
Excellent video of roundabouts -- which I know from months of bicycling in many countries which use them (New Zealand, Australia, Canada, etc.), while touring on a loaded bicycle with 35 pounds in panniers, including tent, sleeping bag, food, etc. Try them. They are very good in keeping traffic moving safely.
these roundabouts are terrible, Just think if a senior citizen was driving down these, I Used to live in Wayne Co which is a neighbor of a oakland Co, and always hated these, I am disapointed MDOT.
