@historicrecord: you need to learn what the word 'compare' means. It is to note the similarities and differences of two or more things. Therefore, anything can be compared with anything else. You seem to think comparing two things is to say they are the same. No two things are exactly the same in all of existence. But clearly freedom of speech is freedom of speech, it doesn't matter what political belief you follow. It must apply to all or, by definition, you don't have freedom of speech.

As such,it was not wrong for Mr Ahmedenejad to question the validity of the accepted notion pertaining to the holocust.Investigation and logical reasoning pertaining to the holocust should be encouraged and nobody should impose on other their perspective of certain event by not allowing further investigaion to unveil the truth of what actually happened.
