you have to be patient with your nails and be strong !! do not touch them until they grow and most important apply a nailpolish that would help with the lenght and strenght xoxo !!!
Answer: Olive oil before bed every night. Also, I take a calcium powder milk supplement three times a day. I has done wonders for me. I used to bite my nails since I was a child. This has made them strong and made them grow within a month!
Dont bite nails. Always carry a nail file to get rid or ragged edges, drink plenty of water. Moisturize hands daily with oil either castor or olive oil massage nails when moisturizing hands,Keep nails filed in a square shape.Never use you nails to open anything put a can or bottle opener in your purse to open that soda or juice can.

Drink lots of water and take daily vitamin supplements like biotin and vitamin E that aid in strong, healthy hair and nails. Don't overexpose nails to too much water. Treat your nails like you would your hair; clean under them daily, keep them trimmed and treated. Be sure to treat your cuticles with oil an a routinely basis and keep the hands well moisturized. If you'd like, you can exfoliate the hands and cuticles with a home-made exfoliant (oil of your choice mixed with coarse sea salt).
take vitamins! especially calcium! and make sure to get your protein! your hair and skin will love you for it too. when you can see through your nails, you know you're not gettin the nutrients your body craves! :)
use cuticle oil on ur nails everyday, moisturize with a good hand and nail moisturizer, having ur hands in water alot is bad for ur nails and makes them thin and frail, biotin is great for skin, hair and nails, dont trim ur cuticles but pushing them back when they are soft is ok, file with a crystal nail file and use a hardener like nail majic works great!
For healthy nails, I advice you guys to first of, never bite your nails. Don't over manicure because that will make your nails thin and brittle that will be prone to breakage! Also, allow your nails to rest every after you put on nailpolish to prevent it from drying and becoming yellow! Also, don't use harsh nail polish removers to keep your nails healthy! As for the cuticles, always put body butter around them to keep em moisturizes and soft! Best wishes and more power! :)
to achieve long srtong nails, dont pick, bite or chew on nails.. my nails are medium and I love to smooth my nails out with my fingers.. I achieve great results
for healthy nails make sure to use a nail hardener or base coat everytie you apply nail polish. and make sure never to use acetone based nail polish removers, and always hydrate your nails with cuticle oil.
For healthy nails: Soak your finger tips in (PURE) Olive Oil for 5 minutes once a week. This adds nutrients and shine to the nails and prevents them from getting brittle and cracking. Give it a try!
best way to keep ur nails strong n healty is prenatal vitamins when i was pregnant with my both boys that was when my nail's where very healthy or another ways is with olive oil... good luck to all the entry.. much love
My best tip for strong healthy nails is vitamins. Either through eating the right foods or by taking supplements. Because of my job, my nails break very easily. I noticed when I was pregnant with both of my children my nails grew really fast and really strong because of the prenatal vitamins I was on. I now take vitamins daily to keep them as strong as possible because lets face it, we can't always eat right in today's busy world. :)
Wear gloves when cleaning around the house, manicure once a week file and keep them neat even without putting nail polish -because of salat- use good hand moisturizer and most importantly NEVER BITE UR NAILS.
Giving yourself a manicure at least once a week to cut your nails, shape them, pushing back your cuticles and putting moisturizer or cutice oil on them. And always try putting a base coat on your nails before adding colour so you don't get discolouration. Ofcource drinking water as well :)
my nails never grew.. i had tried every thing on the earth.. it works but then after a week or so , may nails started to brake. so i stated to use garlic. i know Garlic smells pretty bad but trust me it works. each day before going to bed i take one piece of garlic and rub on my nails and cuticle as well. and then i use any kind of oil and message it as well. it WORKED.
apply cuticle oil 2 times a day and wear gloves while doing dishes. I also recommend using a nail strengthener, I have one from avon and it works really well. I also use cutilce cream at night before I go to sleep.
Answer: Don't use your nails as tools, Wear gloves, Don't bit your nails or pick at your cuticles, Look after your cuticles, Moisturise your nails, Use coloured nail polish and finally have a good diet
i apply olive oil at nights to keep my nails moisturized and also buffing them and keepin them in a good shape with a good nutrion:) fruits and veggies is your answer to a good health
use cuticle oil daily and massage it into the cuticles , keep nails short while they are strengtheing so that they dont break, reguarly buff nails to encourage blood flow and circulation deep beneeth the nail plate, allpy a nourishing treatment weekly, Dont bite them ! avoid gel and arylic extensions as well as glue on nails as these will damage the nail plate :( a diet rich in vitamins and minerals so lots of fruit and veg, taking a supplement designed for hair, skin and nails :) x
I nourish and condition my nails and cuticles just like I do my skin and/or hair. I eat a healthy diet, never, ever use my nails as tools, keep them polished and never, ever bite them. i also keep them protected with a top coat when not wearing polish and always wear rubber gloves whenever I am in contact with water.
I am a nail biter, so I find that putting nail polish on (even just clear) helps stop me from biting/tearing them. Also, when you trim your nails, don't just trim the whole top off if you don't have to, just trim the edges on the side. My aunt told me that and it has helped tons (I have nails like paper).
26 minutes ago I guess my best tip to acheive long strong nails would be to use olive oil on your hands and nails. I rub it on my hands, cuticles and nails every night before bed, and everyday after washing my hands. That and I take biotin everyday for healthy hair, skin and nails. I only use a crystal file on my nails too. Keep the cuticles hydrated and happy. :)
I love to keep my nails healthy..what i usually do is...after removing nail polish i dip my nails in olive oil. it keeps my nails moisturized...I also apply hand lotion with Vitamin E in it before i go to bed. I cut my nails every 2-3 weeks or so, and i buff them so the edges will be strong. And lastly, I always put on a coat of nail polish on my nails or do a nice design on them so i wont bite them or anything:)
be sure that your diet is rich in Vitamins A, B-Complex, C, D, E and iron, calcium, zinc, sulfur, and fatty acids. for oils you can use Flax seed oil, Vitamin E, Almond oil, Jojoba oil, Olive oil hydrating qualities such as almond extracts, shea butter, seaweed and other plant extracts. Anti-oxidant qualities, such as aloe vera and green and white tea. =)
My advice is to hydrate nails and cuticles daily using vitamin E oil (which you can use on the back of the nail as well) and nail strengthener ( on the nail, on the tips and back of the nail). And when you are doing housework, protect your nails with gloves!!
Answer: Yes! I would like long strong nails!!
