  • Good to see someone driving such a fine machine in a spirited manner, not just polishing the shit out of it

  • Why do you need a V6 if the car only weighs 1900 pounds? Maybe now when cars are weighed down by safety requirements and additional embellishments, you might need a V6 or more. But even then, this car is a marvel. 55hp and it gets to 60 in 13 seconds- that's amazing. This is one of the last Saabs that calls back to the company's airplane heritage

  • @McDiezel what did one of saab's engineers say?: if u need more than 4 zylinders to build a good engine, you're failing engineering.

  • @LN1990 If you kill a Sonett, you don't deserve to live.

  • What was Saab thinking? In the times of Corvettes and Mustangs with big V8's they tried to sell this to the American buyers?!?

I am a Saabman but Come on!

At least a V6 and they might have sold some.

It is cool to see these old cars though!

  • @McDiezel You're not a "Saabman" unless you love the Sonett. Stop being a faker.

  • @McDiezel This car you can hear the V4 2-stroke, later cars were V4 4-stroke. A V6 would have been too much for this light, little thing. It wasn't competing with muscle cars, but with MG's, Lotus, and Fiats. A whole different breed of car.
