It's so awesome how the typhoon goes into the vertical at 1:35 to match speeds with the slow turning C130. Very good stuff. Would have been even awesome if the two fighters engaged each other in mock combat but I guess there is very little altitude to try that with such fast moving jets even its choreographed.

The whole integrated combat system of the EF included everything witch is ligthyears ahead of any other figthing plane. Everything is computercontrolled and dispayed on the eye display witch is integrated in the helmet. This technology is still in serial production and not in a testing phase! The Brits only produece the combustor systems, high pressure turbine and the condition monitoring. All other parts of the engine are produce in Germany (MTU), Italy (Avio) and Spain (ITP). @mystermoores The EF Typhoon is put togehter in Germany near Munich. The EF Turbine is made in Britain and was flew for the assembling of the Jet to Munich/Halbergmoos. The whole company is the "Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH" GmbH is the German form of a LTD or Corporation. (Private non stock Shareholder). The Shares of the company are splited between the withproducing countrys. The biggest Shareholder are UK 37,5% and Germany over the German part of EADS with 46% and Italy with 19,5%.

BAE are however responsible for producing the majority of EF components

@couteau86 No, Bae had nothing to do with the EJ200, they're joint produced with some elements taken from the Rolls Royce XG-40, and some of German Design. These "companies" you are mentioning are just the holding companies, they're both based in Germany and are responsible for Financing and Coordinating the project, these two companies don't actually manufacture anything, they just oversee it. Manufacturing is done by EADS, BAE etc... I know, all of which are great countries :)
