i don't understand how shaving her hair is going to change anything in the world. we live in a messed up place, shaving your hair isn't going to do anything. i don't understand why girls willingly shave their head; be proud of your femininity! i mean, to each their own, but just wow.

Don't expect the world to change if you don't change; If we are not able to let go of ideas and self-beliefs, personalities, self-limitations and superficiality. Time to stand up on a new direction, this time considering Life and realizing that we are equals (feminitity?!!) BEcome the change. Shaving hair is a support to face oneself and to stand for what really matters - Equal life for All + description.

@jessenialeigh Be proud of your femininity?? It's people like you that reinforce these gender norms that not all girls want to conform to. You can be just as feminine as a girl with long hair, even if you have short hair. And it's just as bad for guys, what if they want to be more feminine? They will get ridiculed. It's these things that need to change.

@marisalorea Thanks for commenting. Yes, feminitity is a social construct implemented in our minds. No real at all. In fact, such norms only create separation and that is unacceptable. Equality for what is real, human needs, self-expression, LIFE! other than that is just irrelevant.

Everything has an association. When you do something it goes thru a process of interpretation that means that your original intention becomes irrelevent to the reciever. However well intentioned your act the basic truth is that only people who know why you are doing get why you are doing it. For a Jew its holocaust reminder, for a Pakistani its Shinhead memories and for cancer sufferers its pain. As a lecterer in Literature at CQ uni ive taught this for year. Just me nice, its enough

@redchthonic How come we, as Humanity, allow ourselves to be stuck in memories and in the past? Each one of us is responsible for such participation as memory, fear, separation. Self-forgiveness is very very supportive for each one to realise what we have created and for each one to stop and see. Yeah the educational system is perpetuating the past - the same missed-takes of history over and over again...Self-forgiveness to clean up such a mess. We exist here, in equality --that's what's real!!

that's it, I'm shaving my head and you wanna know the best part? i have a husband that loves me no matter if i have hair down to my ass or bald as an eagle. he loves me for my personality, not my looks. not only are we not hiding behind hair anymore and not causing more water damage, but it's lighter on the wallets in the end. at 20$ every 2 months for a bottle of shampoo and cond., thats 120$ saved per year, doesn't sound like much but in this economy, every penny counts.

It is interesting to see that each person associates hair shaved with something... why can't we just let it go and see things in simplicity? In this case, it a point of Equality, of letting go what we perceive as differences, of egos and ideas that create barriers between people. Life is what is here to be Lived by everyone. I see the point but really isn't it a bit pointess? 6 billion people will soon be 12 billion and you think shaving your head will make a difference. I give $5 a week to medicine san frontiere. Makes a difference. Yours is for your own satisfaction. Washing your hair uses maybe 10 plastic bottles a year and eco shampoo is non polluting. I've posted against this sort of ego politics before, and go myself banned from the site, what about the first amendment, or isn't that trendy?

In the end, we are all part of the same economic system and the problem itself is not being solved. It's time to STAND UP in all ways for equalmoney org where poverty ends.There are so many things to change (inside-out) and improve in this world... starting by judging one another is not the way so ask yourself why were you be banned...

@JoanaFerreiraAsLife Charity is abused, there's no doubt about that. However millions are alive due to it. Have you read about the small loans which are made to women in the third world? They make a real difference and help reduce the birthrate which is very important.

@redchthonic I agree - charities help many people. I was involved in some very interesting projects. What I am now focusing is on the solution -- because charities don't tackle the root of poverty, it is not in their current mission, not even the UN MDGs.There's a project called Basic Income Grant that's a good study to understand the benefits when people have enough money - capitalism will never solve poverty because it is built on inequality. The Equal Money System will support everyone!

@claraclaralgo Shaving hair makes difference within equality. Looking at what is relevant in this world. . Every time I shave is like starting again: facing resistances, writing and realising new things. Opening oneself, showing one self, stopping hiding oneself behind an image or an idea. So this process involves pushing oneself to be self-honest, stay stable, to breathe and stand here - Equality starts within and it's then manifested to the outside. World Equality = everyone's right to LIVE.

Being bald is the same as any other haircut. The only thing that makes you different is what you promote with it. Hair cuts, make-up, and clothes are all ways of self expression they do not blind you; they open your eyes to different things and ways of living. Telling someone that that is wrong would be like telling you that shaving your head is wrong. BTW Being bald works on you :).

I have been working in the media and let me tell you that what one see as self-expression is often just another way of wanting to be accepted and to look like the images that the media sells... I am not saying it is wrong or right. It is all about being self-honesty or self-dishonesty. It is a process, step by step.

@joshrain1 Look around, what do you see? Images, fakeness, complexes of inferiority and superiority manifested in relationships, politics, economic... I am pushing myself to stop such participation by standing in a point of equality with everyone. If you shave your hair you would see much more similarities starting by your head lol. It is a point of change and a manifesto for an Equal Money System. I don't agree with the way we have been living/surviving thus far. Lets look at what's relevant.

Thus, it is now time to stop what we have been accepting and allowing within me/us and consequently in the world. Otherwise, if I want to show something to others that is not really real, that is manipulation and accepting self-deception...
