possibly i'm ignorant about the culture in holland, but aren't there any songs over there she could have sung? there is no denying she has talent, but the non-english speaking audience have no idea what she's really saying, and neither does she, obviously. it's one thing to sing in a language that you don't understand, but when it's also a musical theatre song where you have to understand the story as well...? I mean, I get that she's also young, but there are plenty of kids who can -perform-...

@zemegsters In the Netherlands we start learning english in primary school. At some schools even in kindergarten they will have a English teacher coming for a couple of hours a week (I know this because my father is a teacher on a primary school that does this). But on other schools they nearly all start English lessons at the age of 6-7 years.
