Actually that is impossble to do because of the treaty signed by the Canadian Government and the Native people. Either give up Canada to the natives or just accept native territory. There is no road block on the Akwesasne reserve. The Canadian rcmp are blocking the bridge from cornwall to the island and the US customs and boarder patrol are blocking from the other side

One correction, Akwesasne has not closed any bridges. When the CBSA on the Island fled, a protocol was enacted by Homeland Security to close the bridge. The Bridge is being closed by Homeland Security, not Akwesasne
