wtching this actually made me anxious/nervous. Very well-made! I may be way off, but I interpreted the ending as sort of an argument for animal rights. Like, why is it okay to shoot and take pictures with dying animals (such as deer hunters do), and it isn't okay to do so with humans? Whether my interpretation was correct or not, I still found this to be a compelling and creepy film. Nice work!
"I'm glad you took something from the our film. We didn't set out with any political message in mind, though there are obvious undertones that were kind of unavoidable. While researching we went on a real life hunt and recognized the inherent cruelty in hunting for sport and felt it lent itself well to the horror/thriller genre." John Cade, Co-director.
"A few people have compared Quarry to "The most dangerous game". I'd never heard of it until a few months back but I'll check it out." John Cade, Co-director
Meh, could've been better. If it was for revenge, then that's another story. Like he shot him for sleeping with his daughters. Though one of his daughters betrayed their father by saving the lad and got shot by shutting them up. lol...
this is fcukn awsome? where was it Filmed? the hunters resemble the steriotype image we have in yorkshire, kindof in the same way that people think we really talk like mary poppings, hhaha
"The film was shot in Derbyshire, just outside Chesterfield, hometown of Robert Bannister. The hunters were all local guys, non actors, so that should explain why they seemed so familiar. Glad you enjoyed anyway". John Cade, Co-director.
"Glad you enjoyed. By length do you mean too long or too short? Credit must go to Robert Bannister for the images. He shot the film on a Sony Z1 in HDV." John Cade, Co-director
OUTSTANDING! Get your asses to the U.S. so we can change the world!

I remember my brother telling me about "The Most Dangerous Game" when he had to read it for school. And this is really creepy to actually see it!
And that old guy's a jerk! (the character, not the actor).

Hilariously bad. This is some sort of distortion from "The Most Dangerous Game" but it has nothing 2 do with real life. Yet it was very good filmed.

That was really good!
The only thing that seemed wrong with it was the length (sorry I said this before).
I love how crisp and clean your images are. What type of video camera do you use?

Thanks for your detailed reply!
By length I meant it was a bit too short. The chase scene could've been stretched out a bit more.
But it is very very well done!

Pretty good. Although some of your footage was a tad shaky, and it would have been better if you had some some type of a score playing.
Nice idea!
