Boss tune in this game is a remix of an earlier shmup game from Irem, Air Duel. In that game it is a boss tube as well. You can definietly feel the inspiration for Metal Slug from this game's fast speed and run and gun and the artstyle of both this game and In the Hunt.

@Bloodreign1 Not only that, but the same staff who worked on this game as well as In the Hunt and Undercover Cops left Irem Corp. in 1994/95 when the company went bankrupt. They established their own company, known as Nazca Corporation in 1995, and then SNK bought them out in 1997. Why did they call themselves Nazca? Well that was the name of the development team that did Undercover Cops, Gunforce II, and In The Hunt for Irem: Team NAZCA.

Great footage of the game. I really love this one in fact I'd say it's as good as the later Metal Slug games. So many cool vehicles and weapons to use. The only thing that slightly disappoints me about this game is that there's no proper ending and it just loops.

Am very lucky to have actually played this great game and it is just a must for Metal Slug or even "Run and Gun" game fans to play. Great video as normal Narox old buddy. : )

It looks like the kind of game our friend Lukemorse1 would DEFINITELY be all over because of how big a fan he is for the Metal Slug franchise like I am for Dragon Quest and Shin Megami Tensei(RPGs FTW!)
