It does not sound like Jazz, I don't know where you get this from, Jazz sounds completely different and they use different modes and scales.

Look at american jazz, it has evolved so many times and this just so happen to sound like one of them. Plus i did some research, this is considered gypsy jazz.

The point is that as a musician I recognize the opening scene and the following street and beach scenes are just copy pasted through each other: no musician will play with his dear wooden instrument in the rain! Not too careful editing. But the images on themselves are authentic but from different places and times. The plaza and beach are in Spain, I am almost shure I remember the scenes from earlier images from Spain...The style of the opening music is jazz influenced type of Django Reinardt.

They don't look or play like Spanish gypsies. The look like tziganes(?), gypsies from France. France has Spanish gypsies also (flamenco/rumba music) that immigrated there from Spain but France also has Tziganes and they are different. They are more like Eastern European gypsies to me because of the violins. Spanish gypsies would be bored with that music since they can't dance it with passion.
