  • 3 to 1 odds that Junior will end up in jail by 2020.

  • @jag10

I'd take that bet - but I'd hope I'd lose.

It's more likely he'll be in Washington for decades. Take a look at all the crooks there now. He'll cover his tracks better next time.

  • All Serbs are like Blagojevich . Greedy, arrogant, delusional, criminals, liars, thieves, etc.....

His parents were Serbian. Even if he was raised in America.

    There's an old saying:

The apple does not fall far from the tree.

  • I hope he gets the max. jail sent. that S.O.B!

  • So then according to reports, it is unlikely that JJJ did anything wrong. good! too bad so many people pegged him as guilty that it is going to be difficult for him to recover and he won't get the senate seat. He was surely the most deserving candidate (he campaigned the hardest) and he was probably the most electable of those democrats who wanted the job.

  • racist mtf's!! trying to bring another good black man you'all know nothing down. losers

  • Jacksons and Al Sharpton embody black-sploitation. Obama did what those fakes couldn't. Jackson doesn't give a $#!t about black folks, come up to Chicago and visit the schools in his district.

  • Dude, this is from CNN, they are like the Democrats version of Fox News.

  • This is the worst reporting I've ever seen from CNN.

  • Good ol' CNN can sure have its bad moments, let me tell ya...

  • now that the thug jesse jacskon jr is caught up, he has turned to be a informant to save his sorry ass....jacksons like the kennedys are nothing but self ritigous thugs

  • I just heard on CNN today that Jesse Jackson jr is an informant.

  • Yeah you heard correct....he and his whole fucking family are shit. He can't get his way then he go to the feds and start singing like a bird

  • Irresponsible reporting by CNN

    Search headline:

Jesse Jackson Jr. Talking With Feds About Blagojevich Since Summer

CHICAGO (AP) -- A congressman who acknowledged being mentioned in a criminal complaint against Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich has been sharing information about public corruption with federal investigators for years, a spokesman said.

Kenneth Edmonds, a spokesman for U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., told The Associated Press that the congressman had spoken about Blagojevich and others

  • Hey I got a couple of dollars, what can I get for that? Maybe a brain for Bush or a leash for the Republican Party. I got two shoes waiting for a good chuck out the window...

  • Jesse Jacksons a crook so i know his son is.

  • That is a very stupid logic!

  • maybe im wrong about his son but you have to atleast admit that jesse jacksons crooked. but then again there all crooked i guess.

  • No, I don't have to admit that. Politics is a crooked game, true. But, when I think of all of the things that Jesse Jackson has done, I don't care about the corners that he had to cut to do it. That is number one. Number too, I don't know if you watch the news, but they just reported the JJ Jr. went to the Feds talking about Blagojevich and how crooked he was in 2006. We jump to conclusions so fast and know nothing at all.

  • KiwiTwist03: Did you watch THIS YouTube video? Jesse Jackoff, Jr.'s people and his brother just did a fundraiser for Blago two months ago. Just because Jackoff "claimed" that he snitched on Blago in 2006 doesn't mean that he snitched in 2008.

  • First, if you watched the whole story, he had been informing the feds for years about other corrupt people as well. So, you never know if the fundraiser was part of the investigation for him. Stop convicting people before their trial. Get a life. What have you done for this country?

  • You are calling this man names and you don't even know him. Name one thing about him other than this situation that makes him a "jackoff". what is wrong with you people. The media tells you one thing and we believe it. Get a fucking life. I am so tired of this. I work in politics everyday, we laugh at people like you.

  • KiwiTwist03: Jesse Jackoff, Jr. had his brother Jonathan and his team of people do a fundraiser for Blago just two months ago. Jesse did NOT claim to inform the Feds about the recent Blago incident. What happened years ago is irrelevant to this case.

  • KiwiTwist03, are you for real. If you work in politics everyday and you believe Jackson Jr. you are part of the problem. Open your eyes the man is as guilty as hell. He was buying a position, got caught and like his father is sleazing his way out of it. The apple does not fall far from the tree!

  • Being Jesse Jackson's son and having his name makes you double guilty at birth.

  • LOL

  • HE LOOKS GUILTY TO ME......

  • Oh, boy! Jesse Jackson,Jr. has got a problem!

  • hit bush by shoe and maliki for free, and if you hit both of them then you can get ramis feeld for free,so people do not miss to get more shoes with you

  • Pathetic Democrats! Get ready for four years of this type of embarrassment!

What the hell happened to my Country??

  • Dream on funny boy. You lost, get over it

  • NO, America lost. Its O.K. though, you'll still be able to collect your welfare checks loser.

  • stop cryin cause your guy loss suck it up ive delt with bush along with the rest of the country for 8 years.cry me a river why dontcha......you guys are a trip

  • Who's crying?? I'm just stating the FACTS!

You liberals will be pissed off with him soon enough too! I garantee it! Obama will provide you with NOTHING he promised you! He can't! Its impossible! Wait & watch.

The joke is on you Obama voters. The rest of us knew his promises were total bullcrap....

  • ill give you a little guarantee of my own.the president i voted for along with the majority of this country will never ever have shoes thrown at him in contempt.YOU LOST...YOUR PARTY SUCKS....GET OVER IT.

  • You know the difference between people like you and people like me???

If someone DID throw a shoe at Obama I'd be outraged b/c he's the leader of MY Country! Like him or not, he's still my leader.

People like you applauded that muslim scumbag!

Don't be so sure it won't happen to Obama.......Four years is a looong time.

  • Damn straight. How are some Republicans still so bitter and angry about the elections? I was upset but never supremely angry when Bush was re-elected. I wanted to give him a chance becuase what's the point in wishing him failure when that means America fails as well? These Obama haters are so blinded by their outrage they don't realize how unpatriotic their feelings are.

  • I don't trust on any president they mostly the same <.<

  • jesse jackson jr

    Like father

    Like Son

  • Jesse Jackson Jr. assures us he did not nothing wrong. Why don't you believe him?

  • Fitzgerald already called it for #5...& Jesse Jr is toast...and its about time....

  • Its going to be another Clinton era starting Jan 2009. Barrack will step in shit (just like the Clintons did and continue to do) and come out smelling like a rose, over and over and over again......

  • Listen Republicans.

Guilt-by-association is stupid and wrong so stop trying to drag Obama through the mud when he's was unaware of this bullshit. Ayers and Wright didn't work so this shit isn't going to stick to the wall.

Also, I think Jackson is guilty because Obama does not like the Jackson family. He clearly didn't want him to take his seat, the one he earned through an election, to be given to the son of a man he does not like. That's probably why Jackson was willing to pay up.

  • Corruption in politics is rampant especially in Chicago, where may I remind you all, Obama is from. Be afraid Americans, be very afraid. You may want to ask yourselves, what have we done?

  • jesee jackson and his entire family are crooks... we must rid the jacksons of american politics...americans are sick and tired of crooks like the jacskons

  • cry me a fucking river jesse jackson jr... he is nothing but a fucking thug...american must rid the jackson thugs of american poltics...made me sick to hear him on tv crying about his name, his kids name.... boohoo

  • The reason the Feds stepped in is that time is running out before the Chicago Mob controls the executive branch. Rezko is singing and this is just the begenning. Anybody holding office in Illinois does so with the approval of the Chicago Outfit. That is not an exaggeration. Look up Robert Coolet, Roti, and Burke.

  • correction: "beginning" and "Robert Cooley". These foreigners from Chicago are out of control.

  • Burke? Isn't Burke's wife a Illinois Supreme Court Judge? Thank you for the name dropping I will look this up!

  • The ACORN doesn't fall far from the tree

  • what did JJSr say he wanted to do to Obama's nuts again?

  • this is shitty journalism. totally inappropriate to make suggestions without proof.

  • We all should be shocked and amazed as to what is going on.

You are so right. It is "totally inappropriate to make suggestions without proof".

  • I dont believe Con. Jackson is guilty of any wrong doing. Half of u GOP's wouldnt care about this if it were not Barack's old seat in question and u guyz thought u would be able to throw him into a scandal. BUT IT WONT WORK!!!! Get over it, Barack won fair, square and by a great margin.......

  • I don't think he did anything wrong either. He seems like a pretty good guy. He should be rewarded Obama's old senate seat.

  • Illinois politics at it's finest and look who's gonna take over the White House.. Enjoy!

  • like D.C. has any politics that are moral...

  • OK, maybe it's me but, whats all this talk about the media looking to jump on this stuff? 2008 is the year journalism died! We all got to wittness it with our very own eyes. At some point in the election we were out to dinner & overheard some folks saying "if they found the Pope dead, & Obama had his hat on & a bloody knife in his hand they would spin it to blame the Republicans". I had to agree. The media is only out to kill one side, guys. If Jackson and Obama are in this they r safe. Fact!

  • writerreader7777:

"The media is only out to kill one side, guys. If Jackson and Obama are in this they r safe. Fact!"

The fact is that has nothing to do with the investigation. The media has nothing to do with the investigation.

The media can manipulate public sentiment. That's the point I've been trying to make.

But they cannot affect the case.

Nothing the media will say or do will influence Patrick Fitzgerald.

Prosecutors only deal in things they can prove, not media speculation.

  • dluviam, thank u for your comment. I can see you struggling hard to try to look at this intelligently, I think you want to be fair as well. I think a good many of us are too. Without being insulting,I cant help but feel it is naive 2 think that the government will only move anymore than they are pushed to move. Media is not about to embarrass themselves after whitewashing the dems for almost 2 yrs now, so unless there is a grassroots push, I think everyone concerned xcept Blogo will get a pass.

  • I suppose this is Watergate type fiasco is trying to be linked with Obama so the republicans can trip him up before he even gets in office. Yes Balgojevich is wrong, I'm a resident of Illinois and knew he was a crackpot back when my dad, mom and him were in the Jaycees together, sat right across a table from his crazy narcissistic behind when my dad was running for president of the southern chapter. They just need to leave Obama out of it, because I'm pretty sure he has nothing to do with it.

  • 'i wanna cut his nuts off'

  • Mini Me Jackson Jr.

  • Guilty!!

  • Why did he say it like we are all 5 years old?

  • Jackson is innocent, just like OJ

  • Repost

  • refuckyou

  • repollack

  • whats that ? your mom

  • I'm sorry Jess Jackson I am for reeeeeeeeeal I never meant to drag your future down I apologize, I am a clown I'm sorry Jess Jackson I am for reeeeeeeeeal Indictments soon will be passed around lots of democrats are going down I'm sorry Jess Jackson I am for reeeeeeeeeal never meant to make your daddy cry stare into the camera and lie
  • I'm sorry Jess Jackson I am for reeeeeeeeeeeeal Pay to play is what you tried to do now your political career is through I'm sorry Jess Jackson I am for reeeeeeeeeeeeal tried to raise a million bucks you see now the Feds are coming after me I'm sorry Jess Jackson I am for reeeeeeeeeeeeeal wanted the same deal Michelle Obama got instead it's all just one big ball of snot
  • What I found peculiar was Jackson hiring a lawyer to explain away accusations which hadn't been made yet.

  • StinkFingerr:

"What I found peculiar was Jackson hiring a lawyer to explain away accusations which hadn't been made yet."

    That is simply not true.

1st of all he addressed the SPECUALTION that was going on in the press.

The speculation began when Blago story broke Many articles speculatied if he might be "Candidate #5". This was midday on Tues. On Tues. night I heard Jonathan Alter(Newsweek)say the same thing on Olbermann's show.

If he hadn't addressed it, people would wonder why he didn't.

  • No, Jessie Jr was named candidate # 5. He's trying to head-off an indictment. This, is just an exercise in whistling past the graveyard .

  • LickumBottom:

"No, Jessie Jr was named candidate # 5"

When was he named? By whom was he named?

  • diluviam, There are plenty of links to your right, under: Related Videos.

  • LickumBottom, If you reread my post you'd see that I said it was speculated on TUESDAY that he was candidate#5. No one had "named" him candidate#5 at that point. Am I wrong?

But, I also feel AT THAT POINT there was too much speculation to remain silent. But, a speech can't "head-off" an indictment

I also said, in reply to another poster, that Jackson & his lawyer spoke out because of the speculation. That poster implied that Jackson didn't need a lawyer to explain things if he was innocent

  • diluviam, mincing words wont save your boy, wont save him. He's clearly, he's hiding something.

  • LickumBottom, I'm no fan of Jackson. Why do you assume that? I stated my opinion.

I don't just immediately assume someone is guilty because the press is hungry for juicy stories & proceeds to run irresponsible speculative segments like this.

If he's not guilty this clip form CNN is just a smear

    Sanchez:

"Is the something going on there? Is that the reason that the Feds step in?"

Why didn't CNN find that out first, & then REPORT their findings

That's responsible journalism. Am I wrong?

  • DLUVIAM,

The facts speak for itself. CNN have showed links to Blago and Jesse. Blago, a corrupt Governor who admittedly said in the tapes that the seat is for sale and that by the looks of it that Jesse is negotiating and even made some "moves" to "buy" the senate seat. Jeese's hand is caught inside the cookie jar. When CNN was biased about Obama's presidential campaign nobody cried foul and now that the tables are turned you call it irresponsible journalism. Jesse ahould resign too. Shame....

  • ameneses52:

    "The facts speak for itself"

    What facts?

"by the looks of it that Jesse is negotiating"

You mean by the way the media makes it look? What has Fitzgerald said about it? Nothing

I'll re post the Sanchez statement: "Is the something going on there? Is that the reason that the Feds step in?"

This is a speculative statement. If you can't confirm something at least make a disclaimer to that effect.

"now that the tables are turned"

How are the tables turned? Obama is not Jackson.

  • DLUVIAM,

Fact that his adviser and staff approached Blago on Oct. 31. Fact that his brother spoke to blago in a fundraiser by Jesse Jackson for Blago. Are you blind or stupid???

Defending a TREASONOUS crime is the same as committing it. Do not defend assholes like Jesse jackson and Blago. These SOB's deserve to see the walls of a federal prison until they die. What do you want to see and hear...JJJ' confession? He will deny this but truth will be out soon enough!!

  • ameneses52, it's like you're arguing against statements that I haven't made. NOT ONCE have I defended Jackson. I don't care about him. I think the media has a HUGE responsibility in a democracy & ours is failing miserably. The US media is a joke. There's no REPORTING anymore

If Jackson is guilty of a "TREASONOUS crime" & if all those statements you made are FACTS then why is Jackson a free man?

My guess is because those things YOU call facts are at this point speculation fuel by the media

  • point taken

  • "Obama is not Jackson" I'm glad you know both men so well.

  • bobsandwich98:

"Obama is not Jackson" I'm glad you know both men so well.

That makes absolutely no sense bobsandwich98.

  • but this is what anyone would do who are political allies. you meet, you support each other, you fund raise for each other cos you share the same goals. the accusations make no sense. at what point do they claim jackson actually gave him money? this is ridiculous.

  • The whole thing is a bit much. This, is an astounding & dynamic set of events!

  • Leading journalism at its worst.

  • Since when does this kind of gossip and reckless speculation qualify as news? This BS is worthy of Fox. When you have evidence that something was going on, then it's news. Until then, it's slanderous, irresponsible gossip, and if Jackson is not guilty, I hope he collects a handsome settlement and apology from CNN.

  • Nutrino, this is far from gossip. Jessie Jackson Jr. thought enough of it to hire a lawyer. You don't do that for gossip. A pretty good synopsis is apparently upcoming on O'Reilly tonight.

  • If the press painted you like that and you were not guilty, wouldn't you hire an attorney? It may well turn out that he is guilty of participating in a quid pro quo, but this story has nothing to bridge the gap between their circumstantial events and their implicit conclusion of guilt. We'll know how it shakes out in the near future, but in the mean time you can bet CNN's attorneys are hoping like hell their newsroom people know what they're doing.

  • If had to bet, I'd say Jessie Jr. has a problem.

  • another nigger trying to bribe

  • If Jackson is found to be buying Obama's seat, then I will lose ALL respect for that Jackson and not just Jesse Jackson.

  • Is it just me or is it a little odd that Chicago is so significant in national black politics?

  • i really hope hes not involved in this i mean...come on...who the hell in their right mind would be apart of something like this

  • Maybe this "something," as you call it, is more rampant than might be suspected. I wouldn't be surprised as I believe much of politics is corrupt.

  • im sure corruption is more than what the eyes can see. But too connect with someone who is blatantly known to be corrupt and then buying a senate seat something that would pretty much end a political career especially for him being so young is just a bit much.

  • Well so much for the Jacksons becoming the first significant black American political dynasty.

For now it's just the Rockefellers, Bushes, Clintons, and Kennedys.

  • you forgot the roosevelts & harold ford (sr & jr). you also forgot the stevenson family & the adams family. nevertheless, i never liked jesse jackson jr. good riddance

  • Why good riddance? Is there something wrong with this guy that we should know about? It's an honest question.

  • your racist fuck, the only reason your so hard now is because your on youtube. your the kind of person thats racist and ignorant on the net, but when it comes to real life your dick shrinks and you shove your head up your ass. keep eating shit bro. there, owned

  • Masta, ???

  • he sucks. he's mediocre at best. there's also a rumor that he extorted a trucking contract with the help of his dad & judge mathis for his brother's beer distribution. google "jesse jackson, extortion & greg mathis". i belive the truck salesman's name was jesse lee peterson (also a reverend).

  • Wow, this would be totally screwed up if Jesse Jackson Jr. was involved in this. He said that the first time he met with the Gov. in 4 years was the other day to discuss the senate seat. But records show that he's been in contact with him for some weeks. So if that's the case then why would Jesse lie? I hope he's not a part of this scandal. Thanks for the video TPM.

  • Jackson is innocent, just like OJ

  • in all fairness, oj was acquitted in a criminal court. fair? nope. but it was a blow struck for equality. nevertheless, this has dick to do with oj. why even group them like that? are you a racist?

  • oh oh....lol

  • this is all fucked up.
