  • I love and respect all Asian shepherds, starting with Tibet going to Turkey

  • i just dont get why people have to add such gay music to a video that really doesnt require it...

  • I love those ears and tail. And I think dogs love them too 8)

  • your dog's are Beautiful :-) we have Gaffi daughter and her name is Gabby she look's just like her dad :-)

  • Aw, these guys are so awesome. I would love a CAS so much! How come the son's not docked and cropped, though?

  • nice music i"d rather dance with this music in my married.....hehehhahaha

  • I had the pleasure of meeting Gyess when he was in Holland with Hieke before coming to Australia. Great video.

  • ooo esht shum perfecte kjo keng me pelqen qka kisha kcy me ket keng heheh

    qaooo

  • Great video :)

  • thank you. this is Gaafi ( who now lives in the UK ) playing with his dad.

  • these dogs known with their cut tail and ears for thousands of years. they did it because, they are working dogs(sheepdogs) they had to take on wolves to protect sheep. long tail and ears would get them killed.

  • Beautiful dogs! love the background drums

  • The tail looks grand!

Tail and ears were shortened cuz they were easy targets for predators, that's why they are traditionnally cropped. No use in doing that when you know your dog will maybe face a wolf or a bear once in his life (or never as a matter of fact)!

Great dogs! I love the black and white markings

  • i don't mind tails as much as ears. both docking and cropping are done for dogs' welfare. there aren't any bears around here but they still deal with feral dogs in rural areas and painful objects in urban areas i.e. car & house doors & furniture when wagging inside :). Earless dogs never get yeast infection which is a problem with all floppy-eared breeds. big ears prevent proper air flow, get injured easily, can bleed, get infected, frostbitten in winter, flea eaten in summer.

  • HAHA. This is just funny with the music. Good choice. Just two dogs having fun and people get all serious.

  • Correct,I had both American Bulldog's and Pitbull's,my pit was cropped and my AMBULL's where not.Where I come during the raining season,my AMbull's ears turned black because of infections mainly from fly's,instead my pit with cropped ear didn't had so much of that problem.During the dry season my AMBULL'S where getting more ticks into their ears than my cropped ear pit.Great looking dog's btw, sadly we can't have them on Aruba,to much heat and sun for them I think.

    peace,

  • aint nothing wrong with haven your puppy ears chop

  • Sorry my reply was intended for serafima123

  • I am glad that the Central Asian Shepherd breed is not a banned here in Australia. More and more of the large dogs known to be aggressive guardian breeds get banned in Australia by Govt that blame the breed not the owner for dog attacks. I look forward to purcahsing a puppy from you someday!

I think the tail gives the dog more personality, I prefer it.

  • Why would you dock the tail on that breed? The tail is absolutely stunning.

  • listen aint nothing wrong with chopping the tail or ears so get over it and leave us breeders alone with yall dogs

  • @Stoopudjurcee1 for guarding sheep . predators like wolfs or puma, jaguars have nothing to grab on to in a fight. No tail no ears is the correct fighting " outfit"

  • Crop and docking is becoming banned world wide.

So breeders in these countries lose sales to countries that banned it.

I now leave 1-2 tail per litter.

But will always do the ears.

IN the USA some states are not banning it as well..

So the future will be dogs with tails and no ears..

  • We prefer cropped ears and docked tails too, but unfortunately can't cut our pups ears and tails in Australia - its against the law in this country. However it's not all that important when you know the breed well enough - you learn to recognise a good type with ears just as well as without :-)

  • It seems father does not know his son or may be he does not recognize :D

He must be thinking "what the hell is wrong with this long tailed-big eared australian fancy dog" :D

    PS Just kidding

  • these dogs never make big deal out of little things - matches them well with australian people :). who cares about ears, he knows very well its his son otherwise it'd be a different movie as he wouldn't be thrown on his back so easily!

  • you should've cut ears and tail. It's very unusual to see a turkmen dog with them. It just doesn't look like alabai, i'm afraid

  • Personally these heavy mastiff types this person is posting are classic alabai and woth or without ears they are easy to tel. The wolfhound/shepherd dogs type will look very HOUNDY with ears and tail.
