there's not much difference between this and the much cheaper Silver by Al Rehab.I guess those in UAE or Saudi Arabia who think they are smelling this are actually smelling Al Rehab's version!...think Cool Water and GIT and you get the picture here.

I have always said nothing will make me spend £100 on a fragrance and this just proves the point especially when there are cheaper alternatives I can get away with.it's a personal choice.but that's not to say this is bad.it's a well done fragrance

SMW was the next Creed bottle that the SA suggested I smell after Aventus. Didn't wow me the first time I smelt it on skin, but MI didn't wow me that day either and I'm beginnning to like it now. Must try again in the future.

Hey man I've been following your reviews for a little while and you are generally right on the money!! SMW was my first niche fragrance and I chose it because it was so unique and unlike any other fragrance I've ever smelled. I had to give it away unfortunately because it sits way too close to the skin on me and has near zero projection. I don't know if you have a review on Tuscan leather but id love to see one if you have not reviewed it yet. Keep up the awesome work!!

very thorough review as always.. to be expected.. My opinion.. I don't know.. this one doesn't interest me that much. Something about it I don't care for..I can see why people like it, but i dunno.. I can't put my finger on it.. the combo of the tea smell and the certain citrus notes combined doesn't appeal to me. Usually citrus and tea would go good together, but this one.. can't explain it. Not a fan.

Amazing review. Probably my most complimented scent - Very important, though...Batch variations are an issue with this one. I feel that it would suit people well to try this from a Neiman Marcus bottle, just so you know how it should smell; I also think that longevity is great, and also an issue with not the best bottles. Anyway, I really love the drydown on this one - I feel that you get a great currant, citric smell...mixed with ambergis, woods, musk, etc. Beautiful scent.

Hey Marc,

I have a question: I recently got the "La collection homme" package by Dior as a gift. You might know it since it's often sold in duty free shops I think.

I really love all the fragrances in there and it's great because you get such a big variety. The only problem I have is the lack of a sprayer/spritzer.

How would you suggest to apply the fragrance and how many "drops" are the euqivalent to a spray?

Spot on review. But I think your rating on the projection is way too low. It's deceiving in this area and I've had people complement me on this well after the 6 hour mark. It's also one of the best Creeds for longevity. People that have longevity issues with this or VIW either don't own a bottle, have a fake bottle, or JOOP Homme lovers.

I truly love SMW. It was between Aventus and SMW when I was going to by a new Creed. But they did not have 120 ml in and I wanted that size, so I had to go with Aventus. If not, it had been SMW I would have bought. I have a little decant of SMW, does not last on me that long though, wich is kind of sad since the fragrance is amazing. Great review as always, Marc.

Great smell, but I get serious projection and longevity issues. Like it literally lasts for 30 minutes on my skin and it's gone. I'm gonna get another sample, but honestly I wouldn't even pay $20 for something with such poor longevity and projection. I can deal with weak fragrances...but this is just too far. Great review though

This was Michael Jordan's signature scent as well! The blue/grey boxed Michael Jordan fragrance just called "Jordan" is the best copy of a niche I have smelled so far and it's CHEAP! It's synthetic, but it's very close.
