I have noticed another think now. Look again at the 3rd part of shuffling the cards ( 3:09 ). Note that he informs you that you can stop wherever you want AFTER three cards are already on the table. Because if you try to do it with less than 3 cards in this section, it doesn´ t work :] interesting. However I still dont know why :D

I've tried it several times and these are the results:

If you choose 1 - you need to put 6 cards after player's name

2 - 5 cards (David)

3 - 4 cards, 4 - 3 cards, 5 - 2 cards and 6 - 1 card. But, if you choose 4, the trick won't work for names with less than 4 letters, if you choose 5 - the player's name must have no less than 5 letters, and so on... That's why you should ask your player to choose number between 1 and 3 (or 4) instead of 1 and 9...
