Hi Caliko! The answer to this question is actually that the Wii is no where as powerful as the 360. If you compare the actual specs of the consoles you'll see this. Developers are lazy, but not in that sense, FIFA producer said the Wii is easy to design for. PS3 is an example of extremely hard to develop for, (as said by countless devs), so what sense is there that devs would learn the PS3 (least selling) over the Wii (most selling)?

Well first of all I believe SF4 was suppose to be exclusive for 360. People act like a developer can say "I want this game Wii "and POOF! The game becomes a reality. The truth is it's nothing like that. Sony pays tons of money for ports and exclusives. Nintendo on the other hand refuses to pay any extra revenue. Simple. Sequels simply look better. You know why? Because as time goes on, developers develop better tachnology and understand the console they're working on. So after The Conduit comes out, they would have more R&D (Research and Development), meaning that the Quatnum 3 engine will be even stronger than it is now. When High Voltage say they're pushing the Wii, they mean for right now. Look at dead rising, then bioshock. Warhawk, then killzone. graphics get better over time, on all consoles

Finally, to all the conduit haters out there. the conduit is nothing like halo except for the fact that you fight some aliens, other than that it's completely different. It's like Metroid prime's great First person gameplay + Zelda's puzzles + MoHH2 wi-fi + voice chat + 17 weapons that each have a secondary fire + completely customizable controls + an original story and great graphics. The developers of the conduit are implementing LAN connection, splitscreen, online deathmatches, I like ur vids

And another thing, I hate how the 360 fanboys trash the wii's wi-fi, it's Nintendo's first attempt at wi-fi, and besides the 360 doesn't even have a built in wi-fi feature, you have to go buy the wired connector cord, and buy an extra router! That may be the reason why the 360's online is so great, because everyone is forced to have wired (which is 4 times faster than wireless).

The developers of the conduit said that the reason most games graphics on the wii arent exactly very great, is because the developers are lazy and use the motion sensing as a gimmick to try and sell their games, as we have all seen the conduit is pushing the wiis limits to the max. The other thing you didn't really touch on is when people make the graphics argument with a processor clock speed debate, they're missing the point. The Wii's GRAPHICS CHIP is much more powerful than the Xbox's, to my knowledge. That's where those graphics come from.
