Although we do have a liberal president we should keep in mind that the balance of power is going to dramatically shift after today. How can people honestly vote for the Republicans or Tea party? Is it just an American thing? I mean if you lined up voters from all over Canada and Europe not one of those candidates would get votes.
Voting republican at this point is rather like complaining a guy trying to get your car out of a ditch isn't going fast enough and handing the keys to the dip who put it in there in the first place.

She is clearly ignorant, uneducated, incoherant, often nonsensical, and quite honestly often laughable as a politician. ANd yet in the US she somehow gets a good deal of support and fills rooms for speeches. That's disturbing to me, because it means someone that dumb can ride to power on a wave of sheer stupid.

The christian analogy doesn't really work because said group proclaims to be divinely inspired and exceptional, thus a single afront is a harmful thing on the group.

Seems to be a trend among them. @Pledius Very excellent point that has been in the back of my mind throughout this entire election. It all depends on how the federal gov't wants to handle this issue. Although we do have a liberal president we should keep in mind that the balance of power is going to dramatically shift after today. And this may be a case where the ultraconservative congress attacks with federal power over states' rights. But it is at least... a step in the right direction.

Well, it's just not that simple. Corps provide you services because you pay them. They do it for money; wich is OK.
