Magic. Seriously though, if you search around I think there may be a program that will convert c64 disk images to tapes. From there, you could record that wav file to a cassette. Otherwise, buy a disk drive. If you search around they can be cheap. Check Craigslist, that's how I got mine. Less than $10. Ebay is really overpriced on Commodore stuff.
I even didn't though that I could find such stuff somewhere... xD
If I would find a great occasion perhaps I would buy one but now I almost don't use that old PC (but I'll probably never get rid of that valuable present xD)
Except the Mianbox III cartridge and a few game tapes I don't know much how to use that machine :( )
The fact is I've already been introduced to programming and I know many languages but about Commodore I know very few. :(
I don't think I will program so far. It would be fun 15 years ago but today I'm interested in other things. Who knows ? Perhaps I'll get much more intersted in that machine later.
For the moment there is an inch dust layer on it =P.
You can record data to a cassette over your line-out and a cassette recorder. I don't know whether it's easy to convert disk files to sounds that easily.
Actually, these are the original .SID files that were just music designed to play on the C64. It wasn't until the emulator scene came about that the SID files we think of today came to exist (which are essentially code ripped out of games).
Another reason to set up my C64 again and get this to run :)

Hmm, is the "Ghostbusters" track from the actual game? I don't remember the music in that sounding anywhere CLOSE to this good!

@devikwolf It wasn't in the original game and is much better. Would like to combine this track with the game footage.

If you can find a PDF for programming BASIC on the commodore, it's a great introduction to learn programming.

How did you get the music? Are they MIDI's or something because that doesn't sound like the C64 version of Ghostbusters.
