  • Another reason to set up my C64 again and get this to run :)

  • Thanks this wil try on my old C64 :D

    SID kick ass :P

  • F**king HTML5 player!

  • Cant wait to try this on my real C64..just tried it in WinVice and it sounds terrible in comparison

  • Cant Get Enough, really is great!

  • Facking awesome man!I enjoyed every tune you have done?

Im wondering if you could maybe put a Heavy Metal tune up in the same way you did whit this other covers? Is that possible?Best regards Olle80

  • Hmm, is the "Ghostbusters" track from the actual game? I don't remember the music in that sounding anywhere CLOSE to this good!

  • @devikwolf It wasn't in the original game and is much better. Would like to combine this track with the game footage.

  • 3 persons who disliked this video had a ZX Spectrum :P

  • This is pure awesomeness.

  • i love the c64 !

  • what an awesome chip.... it's a shame no one made an evolution of this chip in 20 years

  • Who ya gonna call? SIDBUSTERS!!!!

  • @estlib SIDBUSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you rule!!! well done, not enough people upload original C64 recorded from a telly :-)

  • Ohh... I see some of Polish best C64 Sid music producers ;).

  • this is soooooooooooooooooooo fucking awesome :D

  • Yeah, the Ghostbusters-track is awesome

  • bei 06:02 muss ich einfach tanzen..ich kann nich anders =D

  • Es wird nie wieder eine Zeit geben wie die 80er, es wird nie wieder einen Computer geben wie den C64.

    P.S. Shoot me!

  • OMG! how did you do this man!!!???

  • Between 8:00 and 8:45 it reminds me on "KLF - What time is Love"

    Trance from 1988

  • Verry NICE Work =)

  • C64+doublediskdrive+turbocard/memoryexpansion+9head-printer+1000disks+ruling_the_universe

  • I have a C64 but no Disk drive.

I got the Datasette. how should I transfer that to a tape ? :'(

  • Magic. Seriously though, if you search around I think there may be a program that will convert c64 disk images to tapes. From there, you could record that wav file to a cassette. Otherwise, buy a disk drive. If you search around they can be cheap. Check Craigslist, that's how I got mine. Less than $10. Ebay is really overpriced on Commodore stuff.

  • I even didn't though that I could find such stuff somewhere... xD

If I would find a great occasion perhaps I would buy one but now I almost don't use that old PC (but I'll probably never get rid of that valuable present xD)

Except the Mianbox III cartridge and a few game tapes I don't know much how to use that machine :( )

  • If you can find a PDF for programming BASIC on the commodore, it's a great introduction to learn programming.

  • The fact is I've already been introduced to programming and I know many languages but about Commodore I know very few. :(

I don't think I will program so far. It would be fun 15 years ago but today I'm interested in other things. Who knows ? Perhaps I'll get much more intersted in that machine later.

For the moment there is an inch dust layer on it =P.

  • You can record data to a cassette over your line-out and a cassette recorder. I don't know whether it's easy to convert disk files to sounds that easily.

  • Damn, that Ghostbusters theme was rockin!

  • 8:56 - 9:35 best! If someone makes C64 music should catch that kind of consonance.

  • men i love this music!!!

  • I agree! I love Depeche Mode

  • whaaaaaa?

  • Actually, these are the original .SID files that were just music designed to play on the C64. It wasn't until the emulator scene came about that the SID files we think of today came to exist (which are essentially code ripped out of games).

  • That is not the tune used in the game published by Activision - which is probably the one you remember.

  • Yeah that's the one I'm thinking of.

  • Is this a old C64, C64C or C64G?

  • It was played on a C64C

  • @daddlerTL C64II in europe? I have same :).

  • what is the song wonderful day!? real name

  • @andymitchelluk You have to remember these tunes can take all 50-55k of memory. the original tunes had just 4-18k to work with!!!

  • this is awesome

  • Man, you are the god!

  • Thanks so much for posting this. I've been a fan of C64 music ever since I heard the theme for Cybernoid II.

  • I've been a fan of C64 music ever since I heard the Double Dragon soundtrack... and now CybernoidII is my favourite theme :D

  • Glad I could introduce someone else to that beautiful tune. :)
