Repaint of the Saga Landspeeder from several years ago. They added nothing to it at all. Shame. I would like to have seen an opening hood like the original toy added to the Saga mould.

@flyguydotnet Hey again Fly :) Was that left hand sided engine always exposed in the movie, or was it covered until the Tusken Raiders attacked and raided Lukes Landspeeder? Im not sure and i dont have the movie at hand here now. The original Vintage Speeders engines were BOTH covered, and with most releases since there've all been uncovered. I cant help but think, it would have been an awesome addition if they added a cover to that side engine that could be removed, that woulda been cool. :)

It's pretty awesome, but in the USA it's part of a $24.99 price point, which is too much. That's more than the recent Cloud-Car, more than the recent Snowspeeder.

Fantastic review man! This is definatly one of the best vehicles I've seen Hasbro release in a long time. The paint on this is really quite amazing, would look great in a diorama!

Hasbro really seem to be going all-out with this line as a whole :)

It looks GREAT! But the colors on the TOYS R US "Exclusive" awhile back...Was much more like the movie. This one is much more like the vintage one from the past. VERY COOL! GREAT review!

@flyguydotnet To me...It's a little off. Much too dark. If you look at the pictures of the Landspeeder from the movie...The TOYS R US "EXCLUSIVE" one is much more accurate! With this one HASBRO seemed to be going more towards a vintage style look then movie like. But that's just me.

Other than the more accurate paint job, what else is different from the "Star Wars A New Hope Landspeeder" version (the one thaty comes w/Luke SKywalker - I blieve the 3rd landspeeder ever released).
