please oh please.. give us the wisdom of the international community and finally make us ALL use metric.. I know imperial "standard" measurements due to work but I still find it to be THE most ridiculous measurement still in existance. To still be using that system when the rest of HUMANITY on this planet has switch all the the same system AND is simplified to the point a 5 year old can use it is absolutely inexcusable. But please continue.. otherwise I understand the help your trying to give.

I always knew how to read one but it would require alot more thinking then needed and today I have a job interview where I need to be able to read it down to the 16th of an inch, and it had been awhile since I have had to do so.
