Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't "es impossible que puedan haber dos" at 0:20 translate to "it is impossible for there to be two" not "it is impossible to find two". Again please correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not spanish. :)

You know, lots of Hetalia fans say "OMG I WISH I WAS RUSSIAN/POLISH/SPANISH/CANADIAN/GERMAN/ITALIAN NOW!" or "I'm proud to be Swedish/German/Austrian/Russian/Polish now :3". I was proud to be Spanish long before I knew what Hetalia was. Antonio is just the icing on the cake for me :)

@xMewWITCH112x I live in the US, but my mom came from Puerto Rico and my dad from Peru. We see a lot of the family (most of which speaks little to no English), so I've always been in touch with my roots :) And you're Finnish? Cool!
I dont know about the rest of my fellow Americans but... I do happen to know basic geography of the world quite well... The Spanish speaking parts especially X)
XD I actually understand when my fellow Americans fail at geography. Compared to our map, which has maybe 3 or 4 countries on it, Europe is a mindfuck. European countries are so small! O.o And we don't really get a lot of Spanish influences that aren't Mexico, either.

@BadLuck5150 I'm sorry, but what do you mean by Real Spanish??? o_O There isn't a real or a fake version of a language, just different ways of speaking it. In any case, say Peninsular Spanish of Castilian Spanish, and Mexico is not a "slang".

I never understood why spain is tanned in the manga. I have nothing wrong with tanned people, but it confuses me. I mean yes, its a sunny place, but i dont see many tanned people here at all. I guess its because a lot of americans think its in mexico, and people are normally more tanned around there. Hetalia is based on stereotypes afterall :/

I'm from the south of Spain and I don't like the song. That's an stereotype . You know... my parents and grandparents like sevillanas and flamenco but this isn't a sevillana or flamenco. Personally I don't like them except the ones that are very beautiful or funny xD

I am from Spain. The song is very very old, and ugly!! we have a lot of betters songs!! and in my coutry there are not only toros or flamenco. And we are not saying Ole all the time. Spain is a beautifull country with a lot of culture. We don´t like that the american people thiks that Spain is in Mexico!! But one thing is true, Spain is the better palce in Europe to go party.

@TheCharlesvilla My family is from Spain. Even as an american, I tell people i am close to my spanish roots. Whenever they ask me if im from mexico its very frustrating and I constantly tell people not to confuse mexicans with spaniards. As for this song i find it rather lovely for its pride in its country. but im sure you have things that are fresher. however old patriotism is still nice.
@TheCharlesvilla Not all of us American's think that Spain is in Mexico, most people down here in the south know where it is. Spain is a large part of our history classes (along with England, and France). I'm sure there are some ignorant Americans that don't realize that Spain is a country over in England, but from living here my entire life...I'd say that that would be mostly small children....and sometimes the elderly.

Anyway, I would argue that it's the more traditional music that captures a nation's true spirit and sounds more exotic to foreigners. I'd rather enjoy Brazil's sambas instead of their regeaton and I'd rather people think of USA as the land of old Blues and Jazz than Green Day and Taylor Swift.

-Luar na lubre (Music from Galicia, in the north)
-El nuevo mester de juglaría (Music from Castilla, in the middle)
And try to find the original version of Que viva España, it´s better than that.

I never understood why spain is tanned in the manga. I have nothing wrong with tanned people, but it confuses me. I mean yes, its a sunny place, but i dont see many tanned people here at all. I guess its because a lot of americans think its in mexico, and people are normally more tanned around there. Hetalia is based on stereotypes afterall :/

Stereotypes generally come out of silly stuff, so I guess a lot of people didnt notice the difference between mexican kind of tanned and spanish kind. ^^"

I know the anime was made in japan, but stereotypes come from all around the world, and the hetalia characters are based off those stereotypes. There are a lot of people in america, and I know that a lot (not all of them, though) think that way about spanish people. So I thought that´s probably where that stereotype originated. That´s all.

I'm from the south of Spain and I don't like the song. That's an stereotype . You know... my parents and grandparents like sevillanas and flamenco but this isn't a sevillana or flamenco. Personally I don't like them except the ones that are very beautiful or funny xD
But yes in Spain there isn't only toros and flamenco xD anyway people can't reconigze Spain without it xDDD

I am from Spain. The song is very very old, and ugly!! we have a lot of betters songs!! and in my coutry there are not only toros or flamenco. And we are not saying Ole all the time. Spain is a beautifull country with a lot of culture. We don´t like that the american people thiks that Spain is in Mexico!! But one thing is true, Spain is the better palce in Europe to go party.

Whenever they ask me if im from mexico its very frustrating and I constantly tell people not to confuse mexicans with spaniards. As for this song i find it rather lovely for its pride in its country. but im sure you have things that are fresher. however old patriotism is still nice.

Spain is a large part of our history classes (along with England, and France). I'm sure there are some ignorant Americans that don't realize that Spain is a country over in England, but from living here my entire life...I'd say that that would be mostly small children....and sometimes the elderly.

Por ejemplo, a USA le encanta comer chatarra y no sabe nada de geografía; Alemania es muy estricto; Francia le da a todo lo que se mueva, etc. España no es la excepción, por eso los estereotipos. Sé que puede resultar ofensivo a algunos pero así es el anime. Saludos!

@TheCharlesvilla I don't know any americans who think Spain is in Mexico. Although I have met an idiot or two who thinks Mexican and Spanish policies are interconnected in some weird way (long story).
Anyway, I would argue that it's the more traditional music that captures a nation's true spirit and sounds more exotic to foreigners. I'd rather enjoy Brazil's sambas instead of their regeaton and I'd rather people think of USA as the land of old Blues and Jazz than Green Day and Taylor Swift.

You don't know how much I love your choice of song here. My best friend and I went to Spain last year, and took a day-trip out on a boat. When they started playing this song, everyone got up and danced...I think that was the one time in my friend's life that she danced willingly. XD
