Very good Patrick416, Nice job and you did beautifully with the transitions from one lead instrument sound to the next. You kept a great flow when doing so. The Clavinova(I have one of the original models maybe 11 years old) are great for being so dynamic.

Nice performance, Patrick! I also play along with Lara Fabian's CD version on my Technics PR-305 all the time. It's a great popular interpretation of Tomaso Albinoni's Adagio. I especially like your guitar voicing and rhythm section. And your muted trumpet sounds like Chris Botti meets Lara Fabian.

I've read that the 409 and 407 both have the same sound chip. From the tyros 2.

I Think the CVP 409 Has a better sound quality and more voices/styles.

Also the CVP 407 only comes in dark rosewood...., you can get 409 in black.

im thinking of getting a cvp 409 but someone tells me theres no difference between the 407 and 409 other than the keys but whats the difference btwn synthetic ivory keys and natural wood keys?? kinda wanna know before i spend like 8-9 K on a digi piano

On the inside of the instrument there is NO DIFFERENCE between the 407 and 409...Guts are all the same. The only difference is you get the synthetic ivory keys on the 409 and only the 409 is available in polished Ebony...407 only comes in rosewood...

You are right. Technically the instruments are exactly the same. Only the finishing and the ivory key tops. So I figured the 407 was the best deal!

if you want a quality digital piano buy a clavinova cvp series digital piano

even the lower end standard models sound amazing
