The SVT-40 is a standard 2 shot kill rifle (3 shot kill at range, if using stopping power). What you've done in this gameplay could have been done just as well with any other telescopic sight rifle besides the STG-44 and the M1 Garand.

Like said. Rifles in this game are good. On Airfield I got a 22 killstreak with the Gewehr 43 with an apperture sight. I died because I was low on ammo and done bitch threw tabun gas at me while I was in cover. I was not camping either.

I sometimes use this. I put stopping power and deep impact. I know it sounds cheap but remember it is supposed to be a sniper rifle. Plus I find the m1 Garand to be garbage in this game.

Rifles with telescopic sight are in my opinion THE best gun in game. I use a gehewr-43 with it and I'm hard-pressed to get less than 20 odd kills a match and more than 3 deaths. Just goes to show, you don't need an SMG spraying all over the place to get a good K/D rate :D

It's nice to know other people appreciate the SVT-40. It is so much better than the Gewehr 43 with the Telescopic Sight; the Gewehr 43 just seems less accurate than the SVT-40.

@dcoltbolt13 The Gewehr seems less accurate because it has extremely low recoil, and the itty bitty recoil of the SVT makes it jump just a bit to hit the guy. The G43 is more accurate, kills in 2 hits with stopping power too.

Then it would not be widescreen. My capture device does not record in widescreen so I have to crop to get the right ratio. I prefer the widescreen over the normal format it just looks way better.

Also it protects my friends privacy as they often send messages and invites during games. I really would not want people bothering them with shit. I get enough messages and invites as it is.

Oh and if your talking about peoples xp bar by their name I take it off for a reason. Not to hide peoples rank as I show the teams before and after a game. Its so the names are cut down and dont block out my vision.

Long names are annoying when your trying to snipe or do range stuff. Cut down names of teamates get in your way a lot less. Get a group of long names in your way and you get killed.

I agree with CBOS95. Many people don't like the Gehewr because it's "supposedly" so much less accurate. When in actual fact, the SVT is the less accurate one. The SVT may incur more damage, but the G43 also only takes 2 hits with stopping power for a kill on a normal match.

Too bad I can't take the example on you mate, CoD5 PS3 players are just terrible, a bunch of spoiled 10 years old with juggernaut and ppsh/mp40 is what composes the Call of Duty 5 community on PS3.

On CoD4, we have the same people, but mostly japanese, and they keep camping with M16, and when in our team they don't communicate and keep talking in japanese, resulting in terrible teamplay.

I don't have anything against japanese people but on cod4 ps3 they just seem to hate other players.

Yes it happens. Its with any gun however. I get it a lot late at night when I game against overseas players.

Its just lag. Try to avoid rooms where your not at least in green bar. If your yellow or red or they are yellow or red leave. Its important both sides are in decent green.

The problem you may be having is fire rate as well. I shoot slow sometimes and the bullets dont detect when they are shooting me back. Try taking cover and then going back and shooting again after healing.

The Telescopic Sight is not bad, but not good. If your looking and something and you 'scope' in, you'll be looking at something tottally different. But anyway, it's still pretty good. This and Aperture (Spelling) sight are the best almost every gun

The way I look at the telescopic is this way. It makes me not be stupid because Im limited to range combat. I also fire more slowly instead of trying to rapid fire my rifle.

This leads to better games and better accuracy. Its also just fun to do.
