that shit taste like someone out out a cigar in my tea cup, if you are depending on a tea, coffee, or yerba mate for your primary anti oxidant, then you're screwed.
@pancho133 WRONG, its a mistake. MATE is originary of THE PARAGUAY, of the GUARANIES indians and of the missions. Do you know the MENSU?? Originary of the antique PARAQUARIA, Argentina not existed 400 years ago, PARAGUAY is the FATHER of the Argentina and of the pioners argentinians. ILEX PARAGUAYENSIS=MATE. Sorry man, I demand more respect for the truth. Paraguay, braves guarani peoples land...
Great video. I'll try the coffee maker method tomorrow. Sometimes I just cold-brew the mate with lemonade and maybe agave nectar (vegan) instead of water, but I think your way might be better. A bombilla is not conducive to easy refreshment on a hot day.
I glad I have some bags in the kitchen, Guayaki is good, I wish some company import Pajarito from Paraguay, they produce the best yerba mate, next time play some paraguayan music (Guarania) as background. Great job man!
This video was amazing to see. Although I have had mate in my life for a long time, the magic never seases to amaze me. I want to come over and have some in your garden right now!!! Thank you Guayaki for all the wonderful things you are doing, all the wonderful people you have, and for all the experiences you energize.
Hello!! I love mate very much, in fact I drink mate everyday and I was wonder how could I have my mate ready in the morning without having to wake up earlier to make it, and here is the answer. Thank you for the upload and also you are really something else; how you do all the recycling and everything!! GOOD JOB!!!
Love this video. makes me want to drink some every time. I use the coffee maker too for a quick brew, but you kinda do get a little coffee taste from the maker tho
Great post! I enjoyed watching this and I recently also got the idea to start brewing my mate in the coffemaker. I forgot to add cold water though! Oh well, I'll have to remember that tomorrow morning.
ThanX for the explanation of the breakdown of the packaging... hope more companies share this with their packaging for all of us... also thanx for the note about pre-wetting the mate in the machine... namaste

I tried that brand before, didn't think it was real good quality. I get a brand now that is super high qaulity, no sticks at all in it.

Haha, a true modern hippie (no disrespect, i love hippies :) ).
It's nice that more and more non-latinos are discovering the pleasure that is drinking maté, togheter with somebody, or alone. :)
