@ConorCarthy10 Ok he wasn't pushed, Cunniffe barely left his hand on Cooper's back and he went down on the ball. The initial pick-up, to get the ball from the ground to on top of his legs is with his knees, then he uses his ankles to pop it up to himself. Great skill like but illegal in my opinion.
@89forks he used the back of his legs, he didnt lie on the ball, lieing on the ball would mean he stopped on it, if you watch he was sliding the whole way, until it was at the back of his legs.
@89forks does the rule mean its illegal to pick the ball up into your hands using knees or in general? Also was he aware of the balls positoning to me it looked like he was trying to stand up felt it there and reacted. There are loads of other question you have to ask when saying if this is a foul or not. and was he fouled, sure he was hardly touched but was that enough to send him over while running? really need to consider all that before calling this a foul
In Fact, I think Cooper is way overrated. This was his first ok game all year. I believe he has only scored 3 points from play all year prior to this game. very poor return from someone who is regarded as one of the top forwards in Ireland
Gooch's record speaks for itself... 4 All Irelands and 4 All Stars. He is the Lionel Messi of GAA. You think he played 'ok' against Mayo? How many other forwards would score 1-7 in an All-Ireland Semi-Final in such style?
@Conyoudiggit25 agree i was at in , was painful to watch as a mayo support as one player took us out , goal keeper did alot to, to be fair if it was anyone else andy moran would have at least score 1 goal, but ya he destroyed mayo in that game.
@jimbobbyone1 Clearly you dont watch too many game then if you did you'd see he sets up most of Kerrys scores aswell. But im sure your a top forward yourself too.....
