  • The bible teaches us that meekness beautifies the physical body. Period, and point blank. This is a principle that supersedes what we may think about physical attractiveness. The bible is correct...How many times have you met someone and really didn't like them even though by nature they had a pleasing outward appearance... or vice versa the person has a less than appealing outward appearance but after you get to know them, their physical appearance seems to improve... did they get a facelift?

  • @findingmorris247 I still say that it isn't the women who have the hang up for beauty...our weakness is power. Power is represented by money and status. I will agree that we may choose the wrong husband for these reasons if we aren't led by the SPIRIT. That's the importance of having a relationship. But you are contradicting yourself. How can God tell any of us to marry Stanley unless he has first appointed Stanley to marry us....

  • @lovelydove1920 - i agree we are married to God. 1st... then we choose who we will marry in spirit and in person as marriage happens on earth between people and NOT just in spirit.

  • Here is what Yahweh has shown me that my husband should look like. He should look like Christ. Now, none of us are perfect, but what I can expect is for him to be the priest in our home, because he is supposed to protect me physically and in the spirit realm....and secondly, he is to love me like Christ loves the church. So, that's what my husband will look like...not cowardly at all, but very powerful in the Lord. I won't have it any other way...I'm looking forward to the day we meet.

  • That's why Gold Diggers will be here until the end of time...because men love beauty. And the wealthier a man is, the more he can afford to spend money on beautiful women. Look at all of the men that are very wealthy. Most of them have fake model girlfriends or wives...That's not a coincidence. They want beautiful women, and they are willing to pay for it...I believe married people should have a physical attraction to one another. Sex does strenghthen marriages...so attraction is important.

  • Again, I will marry whomever God has assigned for me to marry...I trust Him...But, I must say, it isn't women who are hung up on beauty; it is men. Women are more concerned with power. That's why you see very attractive women with men that may not necessarily be model quality, but they exhibit strength and courage. I personally do not plan to marry a coward, no matter how beautiful he is. So, it isn't women who are hung up on beauty, it is men....

  • So, the same question... will you marry Stanley if God confirms it, or will you hold out for a Morris that God will confirm?

  • ...the whole "He won't give me a husband " part...hmmm. God may present you with choices but it's you that will choose between them. HE DOES NOT PICK SPOUSES...we have Jesus now, an old and a new testament, and the Holy spirit... all that we need.

God confirms your spouse through the word, through the example of the guy's Christ centered living, and by the Holy spirit... It's you that will have to look at these things and choose....

  • @findingmorris247 Genesis 24:14 "Let the woman to whom I shall say, 'Please let down your jar that I may drink," and who shall say, "Drink and I will water your camels' - let her be the one whom you have APPOINTED for your servant Isaac. By this I shall know that you have shown steadfast love to my master."

  • @lovelydove1920 - awesome OLD testament scripture. its great example of how God worked before Jesus, Before the completion of the bible, and before the indwelling of the Holy spirit...

God is able, but He gives marriage up to our choosing as HE has given us Jesus, the Bible, and The Holy Spirit to help us in our choosing. #nothowGodrollsanymore

  • Everything isn't about the looks, looks draw you in but they don't keep me. I actually don't have to have Morris lol. Physical attributes are more what a man would be looking for someone he is first attracted to which rules out ppl...I definitely don't want to settle which is why I stop looking and allow God to send the person my way. The Word says a man that findeth a wife finds a good thing not the other way around. This is the problem most of us ladies have because of the alleged shortage

  • make this personal lovleydove, will you marry Stanley if God confirms it, or will you hold out for a Morris that God will confirm?

  • @findingmorris247 I will marry whomever God chooses for me to marry...I trust Him. He knows me. He won't give me a husband that I would not be able to stand being married to.

  • Great video. I believe that as Christians, sometimes we focus so much on inner beauty, that we forget that some of the most Godly people in the bible and in the world were and are also physically beautiful. I do believe that we should hear from God when agreeing to marry our spouses, but, we should not expect that in order to find someone faithful that they won't be beautiful. I believe God wants us to have the desires of our hearts.
