Iranian people thought revolution would make them free. but they lost all the good qualities of life and dignity "specially women". and ruined their relationships with the west to get into war troubles for 8 years loosing millions of youth. and now being attacked by their own government. I really feel sorry for them, as they are the only people on earth who turned from a rich popular culture to a conservative oppressed millions of people, despite their glorious history over the 5000 years!!
But you wrote that you "visit" Iran every year? So you are living abroad? If you are living in a western country and hate western civilisation why do you live there then?

some people would argue 9/11 happened for a reason (american imperialism). Pearl Harbor was an unprovoked attack, but what happened in Hiroshima was uncalled for. Killing thousands of innocent civilians after the war had already been won. As for the issue of American protests, you're absolutely right. The reason was Muslim extremist hate. Who do you think Japan sided with? A man who killed far more and wanted to take over the world. As for American Indians they were more tribal not a whole nation. Those A-bombs stopped the war.
@hijazna "after the war had already been won" huh? Did you know that we dropped those bombs because we HAD to either invade japan and lose about 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 men? Idk about you, but losing a few hundred thousand people dying in a quick way beats a few million dying. The war was not over, the japs were too strong.
