To EDMOIL: You can never tell what will happen in the future! Maybe, the PRC will fall apart sooner than anyone have expected, like USSR! Or perhaps, the land of PRC will disappear in a coming major Eurasianic plate movement! All CCP members are but mortal and finite human beings! So what can you tell?
To dartoolee: Is your position that Taiwan should be separate even though both regions (Taiwan and mainland China) have parallel culture and language? To tell you the truth, I am anti-communist, but I'm proud of my Chinese heritage. You are Chinese, you can also can consider yourself as Taiwanese but don't use it as your nationality.
Just like what clearner123 said you can't change the fact that you're carrying the Han bloodline.
To EDMOIL: You may as well tell all Americans that they should think of themselves as Englishmen, Africans, Israelites ... When the CCP members coerced their countrymen to prosecute their elders during the Culture Rovolution, they didn't tell their countrymen "We all have close cultures and languages! Or we are all Hans!"
I know for sure that my maternal ancestors have lived on Formosa for thousands of years, and my paternal ancestors have lived in Fujian 200 years ago. And I am a Taiwanese!
These are great comments, dartoolee. Notice that this referendum is on March 22nd. This number, 322 is a satanic number. They do things to further their plans on this date.
America is run by these satanists. All our politics are now merely a puppet show for the blind people.
The real goal of these satanic leaders is to KILL. They will rally all the people into a war over Korea, Taiwan... Clinton gave guided missile technology to China. GAVE it. It was not stolen.
To EDMOIL: When the CCP wishes others (including Tibetans, Mongolians ...) to support it as the ruling party in perpetuity in PRC, they (the CCP members) say: "We are all Chinese!" But when they try to eradicate others, they'll tell them:"You are hydrids or foreigners!" How expedient!
I only consider myself a modern human being! Whether you think of me "carrying the Han bloodline or the Southeastern Eurasianic Plate bloodline or even the East African bloodline" is irrelevant! I am a Taiwanese!
To EDMOIL: Honestly, I do NOT care at all what the ROC has done in the past 60 years in UN! That ROC Regime exiled in Taiwan has been foreign to us, and their ruling there illegitimate and evil!
To EDMOIL: After the foreign KMT Party Regime came to rule Taiwan, they had forced all Taiwanese school kids to learn Mandarin (just like Japanese had done starting 1895). To ensure their long-term dominance in Taiwan, the KMT Party had executed the 228 Massacre and imposed in Taiwan the longest martial law (in human history) !
The Blue sky with 12 rays of the SUN are indeed The KMT party Flagthat begin in 1925..The ROC national Flag was the 5 colors Flag in 1912Under SUN and YUAN.. And today's Mainland 5 5tars red flag was the Soviet-China Party Flag...Both are Not the real Chinese National Flags accorded to History Books..Taiwan used the Japanese Naval Chu-Fa Green Flag
Agree-The ROC under Chiang Kai shek Give up The 2 China policy on Taiwan in 1972..for this reason- Taiwan with the KMT Flag as a Nation can never return back to the UN...But the Japanese/American Can Easily Mandated Taiwan as a Nation under the San Francisco Treaty From WW2-Which to This date Taiwan was and is a Military State under the KMT Military Laws..Nothing was Agree to Return Taiwan back to the ROC..who know what will be the outcome of this useless tiny piece of Rock
Hey, I agree with what you said except for the last part. "Useless tiny piece of Rock." Taiwan is very important to China for national security and control of the water for Naval and transportation purposes. If a war ever break out between China and the US. You will see US Aircraft Carriers on the other side of the Taiwan Island.
I hope there will never be a war between China and the USA.
They are Taiwanese people, but they can't change the fact that majority of them are Han bloodline.
Too Bad, All the citizen on Taiwan are the Citizen of The Republic of China...The ROC-Taiwan was one of the Founding Member of The UN and was Kicked out of the UN..Today is just part of China...Just ask your New ruling Party the KMT of China..
The Taiwan Referendums are not real, they will have no effect on the final outcome of the UN Veto of Taiwan Joining the UN. It is much to do about nothing. China will Veto it and in is not even on the UN agenda for 2009 or 2010. If every one in Taiwan votes yes on the two props they will not even be vetoed until 2011. But Thanks for posting your video. Abby
To AbbyCDefghij: If you think that you have nothing to do with our "UN for Taiwan" referendums or if you do not intend to express your own opionions regarding whether you would support our referendums, I don't understand why you should be concerned with our referendums!
Taiwan, as a democratic sovereign state, can hold a referendum any time Taiwan people think it necessary. As you are now living in a democratic country, don't you think holding and participating in a referendum is a basic right?
I agree you can have one on any topic you wish. But Taiwan has never been invited to join the UN. I lived in Shin Juan for 6 years and I know that the topic was only used to distract the public from all the real issues that Taiwan is having. The Kuomintang (KMT),Used the UN issue to draw attention away from there failyer over the past 8 years. Please what would Taiwan do in the UN? To markfengg: (cont.) In the past, HK residents could freely voice their supports for the Chinese students' demanding democracy (e.g., Tiananmen Square Incident), but now under the PRC Regime, they have lost that freedom of speech and expression.
Markfengg, I suggest you should spend more of your precious energy and life on the democratization of China and HK than wasting it on educating me or editing some minor things of my comments! Then, you can also help the people living in Tibet!
To markfengg: (cont.) I must say that like Taiwan, HK has never been a part of the PRC Regime! It is unfortunate that the British Empire returned HK (and the people living on it) to the one CCP-led PRC Regime without the consent of HK people or letting HK residents hold a referendum to decide their own future.
To markfengg: I guess you wish me to change my comments to be "To Maohammet: As documented in your personal description on this YouTube, you claim that you live a country called Hong Kong; Hong Kong is but a tiny part of PRC, and it is sad that citizens there cannot choose their own governor to lead themselves!..." Done now!
I still feel sorry for all my HK friends that they cannot choose their own governor to lead themselves.
To akinkhoo: The CCP-led PRC Regime is but a temporary one in the long Homo sapiens' history on the Eurasian Plate!
You know well that 'China' is NOT equal to the PRC Regime. But what is 'China'? Don't confuse yourself with the conceptual word 'China' with a geographic world. Ask yourself the following simple question: "As the Mongols used to own the "Outer Mongolia" (and most of the lands on the Eurasian Plate), is the Mongolian People's Republic a part of the PRC Regime or 'China'?"
To markfengg: By culture and bloodline lineage, Taiwanese are from Africa! My ancestors have lived on Taiwan for over 10000 years. In the recent 400 years, some Minnans and Hokkas (descendants of ancient Yueh people) from the southeast region of the Eurasian Plate immigrated into Taiwan and married our Taiwan aboriginals. The descendants of these hybrids are all children of Homo sapiens.
If you are willing to open your eyes to the wider world, you may perhaps understand Taiwanese better!
To markfengg: (cont.) Both HK and Taiwan have become modernized way before the other parts of the Qing Empire, and both have fatefully escaped from the civil wars between CCP and KMT and other bloody killings including the China Cultural Revolution.
By the way, I must say that you do not know too much about Taiwanese neither! And concerning what I have said about HK in the other YouTube video, it is a mere fact, nothing more. I
To markfengg: (cont.) Incidentally, it is the "China" Qing Empire that ceded Hong Kong to the British Empire, following the First Opium War in 1841. Even before the British Empire took over HK, the people there were probably ruled by a foreign Manchu sent by the Qing Dynasty, like Taiwan.
In retrospect, it is perhaps not a bad fate for HK and Taiwan to be ceded from the mainland China world 100 years ago than kept as parts of China Qing Empire!
To markfengg: Where did I ever criticize Hong Kong? Obviously, you can not even read my opinions/words correctly!
The only place I ever talked about Hong Kong is in a video clip titled "Even an alien or ET can run for Taiwan president (外星人當總統)?!" Let me repeat what I said here for you: "To stephentsang2000: As Hongkong is now returned to China, don't you feel bad that you can NOT even elect your own Hong Kong governor or cannot even complain about it?"

Even worse, the Dept. of Justice in the Executive Yuan and the Judiciary Yuan of the ROC Regime are not trusted by Taiwan people.
Therefore, we still wish to set up a new Taiwan country with our own Constitution.
To rrtrentxwb: As for the second part of your statement, the reality is a bit more complicated than what you have said:
(1) There are some Taiwanese, like Lien Chan, who always insist that they are Chinese;
(2) There are some foreigners here, like Ma Ying-jeou, who would insist that they are Chinese, but under certain situations, they would tell people they are Taiwanese for expediencies or even secretly apply for their US permanent residency when they think the ROC Regime is in great peril;
(3) There are quite a number of Taiwan businessmen, actors, actresses, and singers (like Chang Li-Min [張俐敏]) who would claim whatever they can be as long as they can make profits by claiming so!
Personally, I believe all top politicians of Taiwan, US and PRC are actually fully aware that Taiwan has become unincorporated territory under USMG (United States Military Government) since October 25, 1945 for the US is the principal occupying power here on Taiwan.
To phoenexbladen88: Taiwan has never been a part of PRC China! Please try to avoid adding comments that have no supporting references here. Empty or unreal comments contribute nothing to this internet world.
