Not only is this crowd complacent and inert, but the fact that there are so few people showing up to see Pillar (in this clip, at least) is sad. Pillar is, next to Rage Against the Machine, one of the greatest rap-rock acts in the history of music. Unlike the former band mentioned, they're also highly underrated. I think Pillar's music is undeniably legendary, and their drummer is well-nigh a virtuoso.

@hiro44744 Dude, thats because this is so much more then beat, this is groove to the max! No one can understand that, that is why drummers are never understood, as well as bassists, who give the tone to the groove. So underastimated :(

@hiro44744 I think it depends on the drummer. If drummers stand out like this guy they will definitely get noticed. I remember going to a Pillar show and afterwards I could overhear so many people talk about Lester. And Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters definitely gets a bit of attention too. And Travis Barker of Blink 182 stands out too!

Yeah well he is officially in SGD wrote and produced their album but he's not touring with them right now! Because she's busy with McCoy his Buddy Chase Lovelace tours with them! And btw their new album is out! "Love Gone Mad" amazing music!

Yeah, he doesn't tour with SGD cause he's touring with Neil McCoy and Jimmy Bratcher. Lester is so talented...not only can he play rock, but he can also play pop, soul, blues, and country!!! Each of which he does an incredible job at. Love Gone Mad is an excellent album...I haven't purchased it yet but I have their autographed EP and t-shirt and I have the SGD sticker on my guitar case :D

When they came to St. Marys Georgia on the For The Love Of The Fans Tour, i was working at the place that they played at and was working at the show and i ate with them personally and they are the nicest people. they look at being in a band as a devine appointment and its just amazing how did this for all these years!

It's a Butt Kicker Concert Sonic Shaker. It allows you to feel the lower end instruments like the kick drum and bass. If you use in ear monitors like Lester is using, you wouldn't be able to feel the kick drum in your monitors without cranking the volume and doing some damage to your ears. The butt kicker helps a ton.

i was there, and your absolutely right that the crowd sucked. it was like 105 degrees in July in Texas. It was at the back of a bowling alley. The band threw me a bottle of water and at a normal concert i throw the water and everyone is very happy they got wet...ppl started screaming when i threw it...you could tell they've never been to a rock show in there life. But the camera doesnt show me going insane right in the middle!
