To anyone who is hearing a "th" sound when he says Fyodr.

Take a 101 Russian class and look at all the names in Russian. It's a small list. There is no Theodore in Russian, there is only Fyodor, because there is no "th" sound in Russian. Fyodr is the Russian equivalent of Theodore, and the reason you are hearing Theodore instead of Fyodr is because your ears are attuned to American English sounds. To anyone used to Russian or listening carefully, it's Fyodr.
