People who say dysons are crap are clueless. My first lasted 12 years, and I'm only on my second which is going strong still now after 5.

In the UK this Dyson is about 200 pounds. Compared to Numatic, Sebo and Miele vacuums which are cheaper and more powerful, this is a terrible rip off. My family has gone through 3 Dysons and honestly the bagless appeal is just not worth it. I wont deny it the Dysons look great and the ball is novel but when I could have a Numatic Henry which is less than half the price with larger capacity and airflow, functionality comes first not style.

my dyson is amazing, i've had it 13 years and theres not a single thing it doesn't pick up :)

It looks like a lot because it isn't compressed like a bag vacuum does. Trust me a Kirby will pull much more dirt out.

now go over it with a kirby G5, or a filter queen and you will be astonished as to what came out even after you vacuumed with the dyson.

So true. Dyson suck. Way overpriced. My 88 year old hoover 800 cleans better than ANY new vacuum. Even my G6 kirby.

The old hoovers are far superior to these vacuums
