Cool. As for the drummer, it happens to the best of us... I recall many a time when I've been onstage, and my mind just blanked out, and i looked over at the chart & just got lost in the moment.. As a guitarist we can just stop playing when that happens, For a drummer, doesn't work that way. Was an interesting piece.. He's a great guitar player!
The drummer ain't bad.. I've listened to tons of musicians and I can definitly tell that he can play! He missed the 9/8 section totally yeah, BUT, just think if you made a mistake on stage and everyone pointed fingers at you and said you couldn't play. It's unfair you know. Fortunately most professionels don't listen to all the professor comments made by commen people on youtube..

He had a lot of songs to play with little to no preparation- maybe there was an error in the score he was reading, who knows. Trust me, he's one of the best session players in UK.
Check out Henry Gale 2007 by Dave Marks for one example of his playing. He certainly knows his stuff. Also, a point missed- well done Muris for holding it together.

A mistake is a bum note, maybe one bar of lost concentration. This guy is lost like a golf ball in a swamp; his sorry excuse of drumming brings the word "LOSER" in big, shining bright red letters to mind. I don't think I've ever heard a disaster like his playing before - and that includes some 5-year-olds in their make-believe band.

Do you have to use a band? Don't know the rules but had I been Muris I would have told the band to stop and done a great solo on his own. He has a great tune this year so I wish him good luck.

I feel for you Muris. I did a guitar festival in South Africa and I didn't get to rehearse with the band and everyone else did. I still did it though and it wasn't too bad. No originals though, thankfully, but I had to play with backing tracks, which sucked.

Evo vec nekoliko dana svaki dan gledam na youtube Murisa kako svira. Odlican je gitarist i kompozitor. Zna li neko je li on objavio neki album i gdje se to moze nabaviti.
Bubnjar je sve pokvario, da li namjerno ili slucajno ne znam, ali totalno je ispao.
Trazis album od bubnjariste jel? Izbacio je jedan album sad, ono a la Halid Beslic, kaze pravo mu sjeda sad nas balkanski ritam :) Zajebajem se... valjda si pogledao njegov kanal "murisv" a ako nisi jarane pogledaj tamo ces naci sve.. k'o sto kazu "moRes Honlajn uzet CD" xD

I think it is really a shame that the drummer (if it really was only the drummer) lost track during the song, because this is a really great song.

he doesnt pick the band. its a set band who have to learn a backing track before all the finalists take to the stage. but comon that drummer what the hell was he doing . u can see marius even telling him wtf . i would have hit him with the guitar.. awesome guitarist though check his youtube account

Do you have to use a band? Don't know the rules but had I been Muris I would have told the band to stop and done a great solo on his own. He has a great tune this year so I wish him good luck.

I feel for you Muris. I did a guitar festival in South Africa and I didn't get to rehearse with the band and everyone else did. I still did it though and it wasn't too bad. No originals though, thankfully, but I had to play with backing tracks, which sucked.
Loving the new tune mate. Hope you get another chance.

Ma de ba Muris ga garant upozn'o sa nekom nasom curom a onaj nalet pozurio da odsvira. Cuo frajer kako nase prave pitu pa pozurio da ruca haha.
Jbga neznam kako se Muris suzdrzo da odsvira svoj dio, mene bi izbacio kad je poceo mlatit po bubnjevima ko Velija po Merimi u Bice Bice haha. Ipak dobro je Muris odsvirao pored svega, vidi se klasa muzicara. Sve naj imenjak.

Evo vec nekoliko dana svaki dan gledam na youtube Murisa kako svira. Odlican je gitarist i kompozitor. Zna li neko je li on objavio neki album i gdje se to moze nabaviti.
Bubnjar je sve pokvario, da li namjerno ili slucajno ne znam, ali totalno je ispao.

wow the drummer completely screwed it up for muris...I think Muris was by far the most advanced composer/player in that whole competition...he should've won.
Congrats to Gustavo nonetheless, he's also a really good player.

yeah, i agree. it was a shame, he's a phenomenal player but at the same i can imagine the stress of the band having to play with all these different artists and learn all these songs.

It's a melting pot, there is no structure
like in regular songs.
