@usa1327 The E2 is a relatively different kite, it requires different inputs, but it can do most of these tricks, you only need to install a couple of yoyo-stoppers. I've uploaded quite some videos flying a couple of E2s, you can see that most of these old-school tricks are available on the E2.
Aloha ghfisanotti, please explain to me the E3 bridle mods. I did the search and saw the pictures of the mods on the extreme kites forum. theres a picture where the "outhaul" lines have an over hand knot. Im not sure which line is that on the bridle..
More great piloting & music... an instrumental version of Jimi Hendrix's "little Wing"? good music choice yet again! You look to have been tricking kites a long time, better than i do.. Still got my Hypnotist but also 2 English kites, a Jest of Eve Talon & Carl Robertshaw Fury.85UL. Keep up the flying...
Music but the great Stevie Ray Vaughan again, we seem to share more than the taste for kites, we seem to like the same music. I have three Prisms (E3, Zephyr and 3D), used to own an E2 previously, and I miss it. I do have an English kite too, a Benson MiniGem, but I'd loooove to have a Talon like yours, that kite is beautiful. I've been flying kites for almost four years now, and, at 52 years old, am the living proof that an old dog can learn some new tricks ;-)
@ghfisanotti The Talon is a "work in progress", Mark has not finished making it as yet...looking forward to flying it when its ready. Know what you mean about old dogs etc... I'm 47 myself, there are quite a few 50+ pilots, don't worry...
Mate Gary has 3 Benson's, a deep space, gemini & outer space...great kites! Ive been flying around a year & have loads to learn. Been an archer, on & off for 20+yrs
Archer too? my God what a lot of coincidences! I've been practicing archery since 1984, moved from olympic recurves to compounds (I'm shooting and old Hoyt Oasis), but I'm planning to go back to basics and maybe buy a traditional English long bow.
to Gerardo, little tipp (for prism kites only). In light wind try to use 3 point settings on your kites..no turbo at all..I use only this setting..after total bridle tuning on all my prisms.
Thanks for your comment and your tip, will try it ASAP.. The weather is very nice, but used as you are to your cold weather, you may not stand our hot and damp summer days.
eloo kumustas gerardo i thingking of buying one but cant decide if go for prism e3 or a prism zephyr im after a kite for very light wind or no wind at all
The E3 is definitely not a light wind kite. The Zephyr is lighter but more fragile too, anyway, the Zephyr doesn't qualify as an Ultra Light (UL) either, it prefers light breezes but it needs some wind. If you're are looking at a real no-wind kite, in the prism line, you should look for an 3D or a Quantum Pro UL (if you are ready to pay the cost), but if you're not an experienced pilot, don't go for an UL, too fragile. Regards.
Gracias por el comentario, acabo de enviarte un PM con los detalles, no lo hago aquí porque no puedo pegar links en esta respuesta.
