Nadal is not the best tennis player in history. Maybe at the moment he's better than Federer, but Federer is already a legend and a lot of people say that he is the best player in history (which is also my opinion). Nadal has the chance to become a legend too, but at the moment he's definitly(!!!) not over Federer in the hierarchy..

And also if Nadal should get 4 grand slams in one year he would not be a greater legend than Federer. Anyway I don't think he'll reach this aim. In how far he is over Federer??? At what point?
He definitly was not always better. In fact! At the moment he's better, but thats normal because Federer is 5 years older. Let us see how good Nadal will be when he's as old as Federer now. Of course Nadal is a great tennis player. And he has good chances to be one of the best 3 tennis players in history (together with Federer (16 grand slams at the moment) and Sampras (14 grand slams).. So tell me facts for your thesis that Nadal always was better.
And with whom Nadal could be really compared now except an older Federer? Djokovic is good, yes. But I don't think he's in upcoming legend. And Federer played against Agassi for example, which is definitly not a no-name or Roddick, who was number one or two back then.

You seem to be very subjectiv. No one says that Nadal is not one of the best players in history. But what do you expect at the moment? Do you want to hear people saying that Nadal is the very best in history??? Federer has 6 Grand-Slam titles more. That is what matters. And I don't think that it will be as easy as you think for Nadal to beat this record. If he'll do so, he has my respect. (Anyway I don't hope that this is going to happen.)
