  • 2-4 HOURS REVISION! I do about an hour for a few weeks then a week before, around 2 per evening. That's done me well so far!

  • What did you get for your GCSEs? :)

  • thank you(':

  • your the coolest!! thank you :)

  • @AlphaRadeon Exactly the same problem....I have a biology exam in less than 24 hours, and I am freaking out!

  • wait, you're selling me cgp books!

  • What accent do you have??

  • This really has helped :) Thank you1

  • GCSE's are easy compared to A-Levels NO JOKE x

  • how much dýou get and what topics m8?..

  • ...about 3 hours for one exam, can easily get you a grade C. :)

  • Additionally, GCSE's are far more modular than they used to be, so the whole thing of revising for a load of exams in the summer has virtually gone, unless you're retakes all occur then. And to be honest, GCSE'S aren't that hard. I'm not saying you can walk into the exam room know thing nothing, but a little bit of revision,

  • @TheTechnoRat I still have a load for the summer....this week I've got 7 exams in the space of 4 days :(

  • Procrastination is what'll destroy your grades. Thinking: 'I'm going to revise tomorrow.' is the worst thing you can do. That thought process turns into a cycle, and before you know it, you only have a few days before the exam, where you're going to be rushing and panicking.

  • CGP books are the best, in my mocks I got all Bs except for the ones I had a CGP book for which I got A*s in. I now have one for every subject so fingers crossed

  • Are you mad. 2 hours a night?!?!?!?!

  • @MollzyMoo In the end, two hours a night build up and it really is worth it

  • good video mate, got my tests in 10 weeks :) revision seems hectic loool, helping a lot, thanks :D

  • My revision technique is do nothing until your parents moan at you

  • Lool ~ even if wat u said doesn't help thanks anyways ;)

Well I'm screwed have 7 exams this month

  • thanks for this :) got an english exam on monday :/

  • iv got my science modules in 3 hours !!

  • ur a fag

  • aw thanks for this video! :D

  • I'm rubbish in French it's so damn hard

  • Okay I'm taking my mocks in 3 weeks and proper ones in may, how many months beforehand should I start revising?

  • i want to slap the fugh outta you

  • bit ironic, since i watched this when im supposed to be revising for my gcse's :P

  • u said dont look up revison videos...this is one.

  • i got to 0:22 and i already hate you i dunno why. i just dislike you. however, i will force myself through the rest of the vid. partly because i cant be assed to revise so im procrastinating

  • thanks, good video :)

  • This is a serious question and please answer. Are you gay?

  • He looks like Pete Doherty

  • Marry me!

    x

  • helppp mee..!!! what is justification any one presentational devices

  • hmmmm.... now might be a time to start revising...

  • Thanks for this video, it has helped me out alot, I feel so relaxed now.

I felt so stressed and up-tight throughout this entire spring break as I know my exams are starting very soon and I feel like I haven't done enough revision. (even though I probably have)

I agree with you the CGP books and BBC Bitesize are really helpful for revising. I have two book from the GCSE CGP range in English and Maths. They make the whole process of revising less daunting and tedious.

    Hopefully I will do well.

  • thanks so much! this has helped me and gave me kick in the head cos i need to start :)

how did you get on btw? x

  • Lol, actually searching youtube does help cos I came across your video and its help. :L But yeahh thanks for the tips, I got mine this summer. All the teachers are nagging bout revision! :S

    Ashley :) :)

  • @ilovemugglenet I you want some help, check out our website: ExamFox? We have online tutors who can help you plan your revision and the first lesson is free.

  • 3 or 4 hours a night?? Yeah or not.. Try 30 minutes... .Jam it at in and I'll forget... I take 30 minutes and take notes... Works for me

  • Thanks for your comments,

  • ace

what did you get in your gcse's?

  • lol thanks

  • Ah nostalgia!

I remember exams, the silence of the hall, the awkward feeling when you sneeze and everyone stares at you, I always hated them!

  • aww bless ya :) this video does actually help :) I like doin that thing with ya hands and breathing -- it helps alot!!! i got those science books off school anyways so fingers crossed :D thanks! good luk to me who has and exam on the 11th and 14th and 18th :D

  • the worse thing is that i start my 2 week whole mocks in 4 days :S

    I need the luck :S :S

  • yo dude i revised 1 CGP book for 2/3 hours a day b4 the exam and came out wd an A*.. BITESIZE SUKS (4 me) CGP lot better

  • We have to take three different types of exams for each subject! Thanks for the tips, I definitely need to start revising.

  • ive done 4 exams already! i just can't revise its not my thing!! i find that eating lots of chewy sweets helps (hate gum). I hate the silence of the exam halls... i wish they played relaxing music in them....but god english litrature is boring ... i found the maths paper more fun... good luck to you too

  • goodluck with yr gcse's :)

  • goodluck to the both of us =D

  • Good Luck Calum..

i started my exams today... :(

    but yeh good luck :)

    x

  • good luck even :)*

    grrr ...i fail !

  • that was a really good video! :)

god luck with ur exams too :)

  • Another good tip is actually for during the exam.

Image your in a long corridor with a filing cabinate at the end. Go to filing cabinate and open it. In there is a folder of everything you've done. Look for the right folder and open it. Then that refreshes everything you learned before.

My teacher actually told us this and it really works!

  • GCSE's wern't actually that bad so there is no real reason to worry, you don't even need a high grade to get into sixth form/college and after that no one even cares what you got in your GCSE's, it's all about the A Levels.

  • GCSEs are a bitch...as are AS-levels.

But I have to say, I was more stressed for my GCSEs...which doesn't bode well for my exams that start tomorrow...

    Good luck with your exams!

    <3

  • good luck with your exams. :)

  • GCSEs are easy! wait until you get to college...

  • exactly wtf lol people that do A level get no attention

  • hmm GCSE's are hetic but when you are taking a maths GSCE a year early and then they are the week straight after work experience! 0.o Do they want us to fail?!

  • we had to do the Standard Grade Maths a year early.... its Scotlands version of GCSE only slightly harder, i was fine... trust me u will be too :P

  • Good Luck.

  • Drugs are bed mmmmmkay ?

Love the transitions you were using thought I was watching sxe phil for a second ^_^

  • Great video! Goodluck! and this video did help

  • Woah, that twisty arm thing IS relaxing!

  • awesome video calum!

    thanks ^^

  • hey good video!

i've got my A2 exams soon, i'm actually so nervous! but hopefully they'll go well... fingers crossed.

    good luck on yours! x

  • Generous and helpful video, Calum. Yes, best of luck and great results for you and everyone taking GCSE's

  • You too :)

  • needs moar sexy phil music

  • i ws waiting for someone to say this

  • you were waiting for someone to say SEXY PHIL MUSIC... hahaohwow

  • Hahahha. Calum, trust me-- they are NOTHING compaired to A Levels, seriously.

  • i'm with my gcses (:

  • GCSEs aren't that stressful tbh, try A levels and uni exams. Far more stress since they are actually hard and matter far more than GCSEs which are fairly pointless

  • good video.. hopefully i will do well lol :P

  • I'm sure you will

  • You'll do fine sir; you're super smart.

  • Thanks =D

  • Definitely. They will help with your mocks, plus you have all that time for your main exams.

  • My Final Exam is sitting with 6 Psychiatrists asking me questions ! Great advise !

  • I've got different advice - DON'T eff up your Mocks incase you have a major operation a couple of days before HELL begins. Ooh bitter sweet fate why must you toy with me. I spent hours revising ONLY TO GET A BIG SCAR. Anyhow I'm yaking away here and I haven't even mentioned about your video. It's good for people who are taking GCSE's. Very helpful my friend. If only you were the same age as me then this would be extremely helpful. URGH FATE AGAIN!

  • are u wearing lipgloss?

  • can't say i'm a lipgloss person really.

  • My Standard Grades have Started

    OHH YUSS ;]

  • i'm in 11.

  • I'm always a night before person all I do is revise for 1 hour on the subject the night before the exam and I am fine. Although this may not work for other people as my teachers have told me that I just have a natural tallent for doing this.

  • Lovely video, my first exam is on wednesday! Our maths teacher made us do the same stress exercise thing today =] xx

  • Some people say revising from books is best, others from revision videos, others from past exam papers. I'd suggest to try each out, see what's best.

  • Generally revision videos are not as good. THey tend to spend too long on one subject. But the bitesize ones are very good - not youtube ones.

  • My first exam is on Tuesday and I'm actually not stressed at all atm. I probably should be.

  • You need a little stress.. it helps. Too much and it just wrecks verything

  • really good video ive been getting so stressed over GCSEs start properly next week :(.

My problem is that I start revising and get really distracted by other things, it happens every time. Any tips??

  • I would just recommend being by yourself in a room with a desk.. having no V, no iPod, no laptop etc. Just your revision stuff.

  • yeah I try but I have a really short attention span lol, its probably cos I did well in my mocks and coursework but I know thats not going to help me

  • Starting is the hardest part.

  • i don't get how people can revise over 3 hours though, i get distracted way to easily

  • great video

im doing my GCSE's next week

    it was a great help

    x

  • i'm glad it was of help
