  • Perfection!

  • thank you

  • I will always associate this with the Burning of Kharak.

  • what film is this from

  • @FUNrawr It's from religion.

  • @FUNrawr Platoon

  • @FUNrawr It's been used in several films most notably in The Elephant Man as Agnus Dei and in Platoon as its regular composition, Adagio For Strings composed by Samuel Barber.

  • Anyell de Déu que lleves els pecats del món tingues misericòrdia de nosaltres (català).

    From Catalonia.

  • göttlich............

  • Love this piece of music. "Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world ..."

  • this song is beautiful..but am i the ONLY one who thinks this picture is moving slightly....

  • this has always been my favorite version of this piece...

  • Chord at 5:35. Wow

  • My music professor played this for a test question. I had to interrupt the test because I had to know what this was. This is so beautiful!

  • This piece is performed by the Dale Warland Singers on the CD titled "Cathedral Classics". One of the most beautiful pieces I have heard.

  • @djljjs This is not an easy version to find. By far the most extraordinary. This makes me so homesick. It makes my soul long for Home. As if this were the very sounds of Heaven itself. Truly a Divinely inspried masterpiece. Thank you endlessly for posting this.

  • @djljjs You're sure this recording is that version? =)

  • is it a sign of ignorance that the first thing that comes to my mind when hearing this is "Homeworld"?

  • @NoobTrooper It was also my first thought.

  • c''' i think; but again, who is the performer?

  • It is a c flat to b flat. Or a b to b flat. I think it makes a difference. I am really forgetting my theory!

  • Top soprano note is C flat which is followed by B flat

  • @schrorj For whatever it might be worth, "C flat" *is* "B"...

  • @GingerInk2

It's the same pitch yes =P

but in this key, it is a C flat

  • What version is this? Where/when was it recorded? It's my favorite out of the ones I've heard on YouTube and I want to go buy the CD

  • does anyone know what the top soprano note is?

  • @ecp2014 two octaves higher than the b under middle C. I am completely forgetting my music theory knowledge right now so I hope that made sense instead.

  • @boizurabuai I thought this was in B-flat minor...

  • @Taenyr eep. i don't know dude hahaha I don't have my music with me. I can't remember if its from C to B, or B to B flat. Sounds like B to B flat on this recording but I'm pretty sure the sheet music says otherwise, regardless of key. haha.

  • beautiful.

  • Who's the perfomer?

    Great one.

  • Beautiful!

  • My High School Choir is learning this song right now. It's so beautiful.

  • gotta fix it doesn't it distort anyone else's speakers??? especially right when she gets down the best??????

  • @xxxxdarksidexxxx Get better speakers. I use headphones for classical pieces like this. With a good set of headphones; you will hear many tones you've never heard before.

  • AMAZING!!!! WoW!!! chiLLing breaK from Utube on Utube :0) suCCes amsterdaMcuLture THANKs NeverMORE!

  • Oh, it is a real building. Possible Canterbury Cathedral? Arundel Cathedral? It looks like a cloister.

  • Escuchar esta pieza es ir directo al cielo y a lo más profundo del ser humano.

  • it's a picture, not a real building i think

  • where is this church?
