Socialization like this is really important to produce a well-adjusted pup. Don't break up two animals playing, even somewhat roughly, unless it really looks like it's getting out of hand. The pack/duo will modulate as needed by themselves. Cute puppy, very patient and somewhat world-weary-looking cat.

He loves puppies and frequently comes into the training ring during puppy kindergarten classes. He is there, during this video, of his own free will and if the puppies ever get too rambunctious, he simply gets up and leaves. He thinks puppies are entertaining. Bruce is much loved and very pampered and we are not entirely sure that he doesn't consider himself a dog.

I doubt it. . . . . . . . .I think the cat would have put some hurt on the puppy if it had felt pain. Believe me if the kitty had felt pain, it would have reacted with plenty of scratching and biting (the way they normally do) + plus the puppy would have been no match for him/her.

@pandoraisabiter I've seen cats when their pissed off or scared or in trouble...this cat is enjoying this...and having fun...for one, the ears aren't down or "cocked" so to speak....two, the tail isn't fluffed out and neither is the back fur...three, the back doesn't really arch...and four, there was no hissing...He is also flicking/flipping his tail which I see a lot when mom cats play with their babies. So there is no harm no foul in this vid....
